The Void's Protector: Nova Fire

Flashback

Tyler POV

Adara was passed out on the floor, she had black marks on her ankle and they were spreading up her leg. She was slightly awake when I got to the door but her breathing slowed as I walked in. Sasha didn't stop me, she actually tugged me in.

"How did this happen?" I asked sliding to her side.

"There was this shadow monster and it attacked us, it went straight for her," Sasha whimpered.

"That's why we are sitting in the light." Another girl added. She was small, really small. "The name is Tiana by the way,"

"How do we help her?" Sasha asked. Her face showed all kinds of worry, it looked like she was going to cry.

"I think I can help," Midnight remarked.

"Is that a talking cat?" Tiana asked.

"And a very good friend of Adara-" She added nodding.

"I don't care if the cat can talk or not, I just need to know if she's going to ok!" Sasha shouted.

"She's going to be fine." She insisted. Sasha sighed but I knew that wasn't going to win her over. I reached to touch her ankle but a bolt came from my hand and circled around her ankle. The marks disappeared and she started breathing more soundly.

"Yeah, she's gonna be fine," I added again.

"How did this happen to you two? You having lightning and her having fire," A girl with glasses asked.

"Well, it's actually really hard to explain. There is this moving void that just picks people. We have no idea on how it works but we just find people that were picked," I stated.

"Oh, FYI she has no memory about you," Sasha reported.

"So that's why she didn't come back," I sighed.

"I'm pretty sure we can sort it out. Probably a few key words with put it back," Midnight giggled.

"So how did she get here?" Bella asked. I looked down, maybe I should tell her friends about it. What's the worst that could happen? I told them everything that happens ever since I met her.

"And she didn't tell any or at least her best friend about this?" Sasha yelled. I didn't think she would've got mad.

"She actually wasn't supposed to tell anyone but we never really expect anyone to find out like this," Midnight stated.

"I know this all sounds crazy but-" I started to say.

"All this sounds awesome!" Sasha yelled. Then Adara woke up, I finally know that she's alright.

Adara POV

The pain in my ankle started hurting worse and I started feeling colder and drowsy. Then it was spreading up my leg. The burning tree was in the distance and a guy fighting more of those crawlers. His eyes were amazing, and he was very familiar. Then the tree's fire was getting darker and my vision was getting blurry.

"Adara, are you ok? Adara..." Sasha was talking to me but her voice was getting deeper and I fell onto the floor hard.

I was in a dark place again, my hands started sparking but they wouldn't light. Then more crawlers came out, I started running. Felt like I wasn't going anywhere, it was forever dark with all these eyes.

"You cannot out run the darkness," the giant crawler said and echoed away with an evil laugh.

"No, I can't, but I can get rid of it," I remarked. My hands finally turned into flames and I brightened up the entire space I was in.
