"charlotte, help me pull out the medical table out from the storage room." schowz said, pulling out his tools and many body scanning machines.
"why what's wrong?" charlotte asked, averting her eyes away from the screen where she was watching drake and josh.
"henry got hurt really horribly while fighting the time jerker." schowz replied, which caused charlotte to give him a confused look.
"the time jerker? what could he have done that was so horrible? send him back in time to the worst day of his life." charlotte laughed.
"throw him off a balcony." schowz replied.
"throw him off a balcony? what?" charlotte asked, even more confused and shocked.
"i'm not caught up on all details but that's all ray told me. if i can't fix him here we may have to take him to the hospital." schowz added.
charlotte nodded, now worried for her best friend.
the beeping of the tubes caused both of them to look over and worry about the situation coming near them.
ray was the first to come down, soon followed by henry who was almost passed out by the way his eyes were starting to roll to the back of his head.
not a good sign.
"what are his current vitals?" schowz immediately asked, starting to enter information into the machine.
"i don't know, schowz. he took a pretty big fall, at least 7 stories off the ground." ray responded, taking his mask off.
"how'd he fall?" charlotte asked, finally speaking.
"time jerker, he was running towards henry at full force and he slammed into him causing him to fall over the balcony edge. his head was bleeding when he first got up, and i had to carry him half way here." ray said, worried for his sidekick.
"he has serious cuts, bruises, and bullets in him. he needs to go to a hospital immediately." schowz said, looking at ray and charlotte's shocked faces.
"bullets?" charlotte exclaimed.
"yeah, dr. minyak and his hot lady nurse were there as well. they had guns, and we didn't know." ray responded.
"i can't got to the hospital. my cover will be blown." henry muttered, stuttering as he took in deep breaths.
"well, it's other that or risk you dying!" ray responded.
"well, it'll be worth it. it was my choice to risk myself." henry muttered, even quieter than before.
"what will jasper and i tell your parents?" charlotte asked, going up to him and lightly tapping his cheek.
he smiled at her touch, before she could no longer feel his warm breath. she quickly panicked and put her fingers on his pulse.
"guys, henry stopped breathing."
schowz quickly checked his vitals to only find out he had passed out because he wasn't getting enough air into his lungs.
"we're taking him to the hospital now." charlotte said, grabbing her jacket off the spinning couch.
"but he said not to." schowz explained.
"i'm not letting my best friend die, because of some damn bad guy." charlotte said, startling them with her sudden outrage.
"she's right, schowz. we have to leave now or he may not make it." ray interjected.
"i'll get the helicopter keys." schowz aaid, leaving charlotte and ray to deal with getting henry up to the helicopter patio.
"you totally like him don't you?" ray asked, smirking as he lunged henry over his shoulder carefully.
"no." charlotte denied.
"oh, come on. i've seen the heart eyes you two have been giving each other." ray laughed, making charlotte blush in embarrassment.
"just hurry up and get henry to the hospital before i lose my best friend."

"henry hart?" the doctor called out in the waiting room, making all of his friend and family look over at the female.
charlotte was the first to move, her feet carrying as fast they could.
"are you charlotte?" the doctor asked her.
she nodded. "yes m'am, that's me."
"the patient has requested to see you, he may be a little dozed off because of the medicine." the doctor said.
"how bad were his injuries?"
"some of them were really bad which caused him to go to immediate surgery others were minors, nothing a needle and tweezers can't fix." she replied.
charlotte smiled at before the doctor showed her down to henry's room.
she opened the door, looking in to see her best friend connected to many needles and a cast on his arm.
"hey hen." she greeted, quietly shutting the door.
"hey char." he replied, quietly.
"how do you feel?" charlotte asked him, making him smile a little. she was confused as to why, but awaited his response.
"i got shot 3 times, have a broken arm, multiple bruises, and came out of surgery not long ago. how do you think i feel?" he replied, smiling.
"not good, but i mean you took a big fall, i'm surprised you didn't shatter your skull." charlotte causing henry to look at her confused.
"what are you talking about?" he asked.
"ray said the time jerker pushed you off a balcony." charlotte replied, puzzled.
"what? i didn't get pushed over a balcony. we weren't even near a balcony during the fight." henry replied, propping himself up a little.
"then what happened?"
"the time jerker and dr.minyak had planned to kidnap you and hurt you just for my identity. i wasn't gonna let that happen so i stood up to them and after taking a couple bullets, punches, kicks, and so much other stuff. i ended up here." henry explained, making charlotte realize something.
"so, you're in this situation because of me?" she asks, making henry shake his head.
"no, i'm here because it's my job to protect you from any harm. not just because i'm a superhero, but because i'm your best friend." he said, making her smile.
"you know i hate you sometimes."
"but you love me a lot more."
"that i can't deny."
