eleven ⇾ vulnerable

"hey, have you guys seen henry?" charlotte asked a group of girls, as she walked around swellview high, desperately looking for her friend.

the girls said no and she moved on asking other people that she'd seen him talk to but no one seemedto know anything.

"jasper! have you seen henry?" she asked hoping he'd at least have a clue to their friend's sudden disappearance.

"he's not coming today, i thought he would've called you first to let you know." jasper said, suprised that he knew more than charlotte.

"actually, he hasn't called me or even texted me. he's been ignoring my calls since tuesday night." charlotte exclaimed, trying to think of anything that would let her know why.

"oh well, he's been repeatedly blowing up my phone with texts and calls since then." jasper shrugged, not really caring.

"ugh, whatever, i'll just talk to him later at work." charlotte mumbled.

"you can't." jasper said.

"and why not?" charlotte asked.

"he called in sick to work for the rest of the week, so it'll just be us in the man cave." jasper explained, making charlotte more confused than ever.

"that seems odd."

"yeah, he's been out of it for awhile now. i'm surprised he hasn't told you by now." jasper said, walking off towards sidney and oliver.

"told me what?" she yelled at jasper, making him shrug his shoulders at her.

"ray!" charlotte yelled throughout the man cave looking for ray.

"what?" he whined, walking out of his room.

"where's henry?"

"he called in sick." he responded.

"when?" charlotte questioned.

"wednesday morning." ray replied skeptically.

"why? is he not really sick? that son of a bi-"
"-scuit" ray muttered.

"no, i don't know. he's been ignoring me since tuesday night." charlotte explained, a sudden sadness taking over her.

ray noticed charlotte's sudden change in attitude as he took a seat next to her on the couch.

"maybe you should go look for him at his house, he can't necessarily just ignore you there." ray suggested making charlotte nod.

"you're right. thanks ray, i'll be back later." charlotte said, running out of the man cave.

"kids these days." ray muttered.

once charlotte made it to the hart household, she quickly knocked on the door.

she was anxiously waiting until piper opened the door.

"charlotte, what are you doing here?" piper asked.

"i came to look for henry. hey, have you been crying?" charlotte asked, noticing piper's tear stained cheeks and puffy red eyes.

"yeah, but you should see henry." piper answered, opening to door even wider to let charlotte in.

"he's upstairs in his room. maybe you could do me a favor and convince him to eat something? it's been three days since his last meal." piper explained, making charlotte nod.

"of course."

charlotte ran upstairs, noticing a stack of boxes being piled next to mr. and mrs. hart's room door.
