CHAPTER ELEVEN

Later that day, maybe around five o'clock in the afternoon, Sakura came back into my room and told me that it'd be okay if I left. I went to sit up, but Sasuke and Jugo were immediately by my side, and when they caught a glimpse of each other, they literally had a staring contest, forgetting that they were supposed to be helping me, so an amused Itachi came over and gently pulled me the rest of the way up.

I planted my feet on the floor, one arm around Itachi's neck, and the other placed on the edge of the bed. Itachi then took a step forward, and I cautiously followed, testing my weight on the appendage. After I'd seen that I didn't lock up, and didn't feel any pain, I removed my hand from the bed and took another step, but kept my arm locked around Itachi.

"Alright, let's go. I'm hungry again." I demanded after securing my arm once more. Itachi took another step, so I did too, and kept my eyes on the floor, lifting my feet one at a time.

"Try and walk without me, (Y/n)." Itachi said suddenly as we made it out of the room. I looked up to him, looking at the small smile he held on his face, before reaching for the closest wall and detaching myself from him once more, and repeating the process of walking, and after a few minutes, I was walking on my own, but at a slower than usual pace.

"See you later (Y/n), I'm taking your teammate home now!" Naruto yelled to me from the lobby, an irritated looking Suigetsu following him. I sent a warning glare to Suigetsu, and he seemed to get the message, for he had dropped the look off of his face and replaced it with a smirk. I nodded my head toward Naruto and continued walking out, only to see Karin hovering over Sakura's shoulder, and Sakura looked irritated.

"Karin, stop hovering." I bark out blankly. At the sound of my voice, Karin jumped and a look of relief flashed across her features, but she quickly replaced it with a scowl.

"Don't tell me what to do you dummy! Now go home and rest so you can better and we can go kick some ass!" Karin yelled, but I knew that she was genuinely worried about me, which kind of freaked me out. I shook my head with a small smirk on my face before replying to her.

"I'll let that go, for now anyway." I say sadistically. Karin's face paled considerably as she took a few steps back, placing Sakura in between me and her. I shook my head once more before slowly walking out of the hospital. We start walking toward the academy, then straight past it, heading down the old dirt road, that looked exactly the same as it used to. We then passed my old compound and now are walking to the Uchiha compound, but then it hit me. I'm sure that Itachi didn't want to stay in the same place he murdered his whole family, and I'm sure Sasuke was thinking the same, so why not stay in the Daku compound?

"Wait, we can just stay in my compound." I say suddenly, causing the three guys to stop. Itachi turns around to look at me skeptically, but Sasuke looked as if he were going to have a panic attack.

"But I want you to stay with me." Sasuke says and walks up to me, leaving Itachi alone at the front. I smirk lightly at him, then throw a glance at Itachi, who was looking at Sasuke with knowing eyes.

"Okay, then you two come and live with me and Jugo. We three can live in my old house, it's more than big enough, and Itachi you can have your own if you so desire." I say to Sasuke and Itachi. Itachi must have known what I was doing, because he sent me a small, grateful smile, which I didn't return.

"Alright then. I'll have to go and get my stuff later, but for now let's get you home." Sasuke says with a small smile. I nod in his direction and we turn around. Sasuke and I were at the front since we knew where we were going, and Jugo and Itachi were behind the two of us. We enter my compound and I just stare blankly at the old houses, memories coming back with each one I look at, before finally, we reach my old house. I walk up the steps first and push the door open. Everything looked exactly the same, save for the thin coating of dust on everything.
