CHAPTER THIRTEEN

After Tsunade dismissed us to our assigned places, we broke up into our teams and left, just as instructed. Sasuke, Jugo, Suigetsu, and I left to go meet with the newest jounin, which was surprisingly a lot. There were about twenty of them, equally mixed girls and boys, all ranging widely in age, the youngest appearing to be about fourteen. The group eyed us skeptically as we walked up, and kept their guards raised. I smirked lightly as we came up to them and stopped, except for Sasuke. He walked forward and cleared his throat lightly.

"Alright, Lady Tsunade sent the four of us here to train all of you. We will train until sunset, so, I want all of you to attack the four of us all at once so-" Sasuke begins, but I shake my head silently at him before speaking up.

"No Sasuke, that's stupid. We should break them up evenly in groups of five or so, and each of us should get a group to train, and then we rotate." I suggest. It was much more logical to do it like I suggested, they'd get more experience this way.

"Aren't you still considered a genin? What gives you the authority to give orders to a jounin?" A random boy from the crowd speaks. He looked to be my age, if not a year or two older. A small smirk spreads across my face as fear spreads through Jugo and Sasuke. Not fear of me, but fear for this guy's life.

"I don't think you know who I am, do you?" I ask deeply, almost sinisterly. The boy's eyebrow raises slightly and he crosses his arms across his chest, a care free look about him.

"Should I? You don't look that important to me." He says, his eyebrows now furrowed. Jugo's eyes widened and he went to grab me, but I took a step closer to the boy.

"Alright then. Everyone else besides this one right here, back up. Since I'm so unimportant, you shouldn't have trouble beating me in a spar, should you?" I said, as I was now full on smirking, sadistically for that matter. Jugo was now mumbling to Sasuke, whose eyes were now also wide, probably telling him about the time I'd killed a man for saying something similar to what this kid had just said to me. I'd killed that man without a second thought, he was merely in my way, and on my nerves.

"Nope, don't think so." The boy says as he cracks his knuckles, a smirk spreading on his face that could rival mine, but would never match. I chuckle silently for a singular second before a large circle split around the two of us.

"(Y/n) wait, we shouldn't-" Sasuke began as he started walking closer to me, but Suigetsu's hand snapped forward and grabbed his shoulder, stopping him dead in his tracks, earning a glare from Sasuke.

"Come on Sasuke, let your little girlfriend try him out." Suigetsu said with a lazy smirk, his singular pearly white tooth poking out from under his top lip. Suigetsu loved to watch me fight, because I usually used either water and ice, which is what he used. He liked to watch me to learn for himself.

"Shut up Suigetsu, or you're next." I growl as I snap my head to the right to look at him out of the corner of my eye. He holds both of his hands up in surrender, the same smirk plastered on his face.

"Yeah Sasuke, let your girlfriend get knocked down to her place." The boy says. Oh, that was it. I was now pissed off, and Jugo knew it, for he took a quick step closer with worry evident on his features.

"Don't kill him (Y/n). Remember, we aren't rogue anymore." Jugo says in a calming voice. At Jugo's words, the jounin's eyes widened in fear. He didn't know who I am, how powerful I am, and that I was rogue. The boy visibly shook as I allowed a bit of my raging demonic chakra loose to swirl around my body.

"No promises." My distorted voice calls out. The temperature in the air had dropped to freezing, and the wind had now picked up. For a moment, the boy just stood there, watching me in sheer horror, but quickly put on a brave face and charged.
