5-"so messed up"

The bright morning sun shines through the curtains and fills my eyes, as the quiet buzz of my phone awakes me.

I rub my aching eyes and turn over towards it, checking the time and then my messages.

10.00am and loads of twitter notifications.

Most of them are tweets from fangirls, asking who I am, whether I'm Simons girlfriend or not.

Today, I'm filming a video with Ethan, so they'll know who I am soon.

But I have one twitter message, that isn't a fangirl.

"You busy tomorrow?" - Simon.

I smile before replying:

"No, why?"

My stomach reminds me that I need food, so I slowly get out of bed and walk downstairs.

Sitting down at the table, I see my dad cooking pancakes.

"You want some?" He says, laughing.

"Please" I say, standing up to get a plate.

"Go and ask Ethan if he wants any, he's in his room" my dad says, keeping his eyes on the pan.

I walk in to a tired looking Ethan,

"You want pancakes?" I say, laughing at his slow reaction.

"Yeah please" he says

"Come down in a minute then" I say, giggling again.

"You look tired" my dad says, as he sees Ethan walk in and slump into the chair.

"I've been editing all night, my sleeping pattern is so messed up" he says, giggling.

"Ahhhh, your mum told me you did this 'YouTube'" he said, "she's very proud" he said smiling.

We had finished breakfast and Ethan said:

"I'm going for a nap, we'll film in a couple of hours yeah?"

"Sure" I say, smiling.

Walking back to my bedroom, I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket.

Twitter: Message From Simon Minter:

"You wanna come round?"

I reply: "Yeah sure, have you asked Ethan?"

"Ethan said he's got a lot of filming & editing to do, so he can't come. I'll pick you up at 1?" He promptly replied.

"Ok" I reply, smiling down at my phone.

"You ready to record?" Ethan says, looking tired again as he rubs his eyes.

"Yeah" I say, laughing.

I walk into his bedroom, for the first time ever and see an incredible amount of equipment.

He has two gaming chairs in front of his desk.

"I'll put my chair in the frame and then you can slide in" he says, laughing.

He gets in position and begins talking:

"What's up guys, welcome to a different kind of video today, but before we get into it,

We have a special guest with us today!

Come on in!" He says.

"Hey!" I say sliding in, like he said.

"And who are you?" He asks, for the viewers.

"I'm Jade" I say, laughing awkwardly.

"A few of you might have seen Jade before, as you guys were wondering who she was." He continues, "she is in fact not Simon's girlfriend, she is my step-sister" he says, laughing.

"Today guys, we're doing a Q&A, now I haven't done one of these in a while and since there was a lot of conspiracies about who Jade was, so I thought you guys should get to know her, and me a little better" he laughs, before continuing, "not that you don't know everything about my life already" he laughs again.

"So, Jade, where are you from?" He says, reading the question off of his phone.

"Melbourne" I say, "not that they can't tell by my accent"

------

"What is your favourite movie?" I read.

"Umm.....Casino Royale, the James Bond movie"

"Good choice" I say, laughing

"What about you?" He says.

"It's got to be The Dark Knight!" I say.

"Jade doesn't have a YouTube channel, but you do have twitter?"

"Yes"

See you...later"

He says, before ending the recording.

"You're a natural, why don't you get a YouTube channel?"

"Ohhh, I don't know" I say laughing, "maybe"

The silence prompts me to speak again,

"I hope they like me" I say, looking down at my hands.

"They will, it'll be fine.
The video will be out tomorrow,
So I guess you'll find out then"
