25-"I love him"

"So what time are your parents coming back?"

Vik looks between Ethan and I multiple times, waiting for an answer from one of us.

"Like 5ish I don't know" Ethan laughs.

"They're coming back at 5" I confirm.

"So we have--" Vik begins talking, but stops himself and stares at the door way to the kitchen, a worried look on his face.

He clears his throat and the rest of us turn to see what he is looking at.

We just all sit there, speechless staring at him, until he speaks up.

"I'm so sorry about last night, I was really drunk I barely even know what happened.

I ruined the night for everyone I'm so sorry"

I give him a slight look of pity, which he returns.

Everyone continues to stare at him, until Simon stands up.

He begins walking over to JJ,

I clench my fists in anticipation as to what was about to happen.

Was he about to punch him again?
Worse?

All we could do was wait.

I see a couple of the boys tense up, feeling the same way I did.

I can tell that Simon knew exactly what he was putting us through, as he kept his emotion completely neutral to add to the suspense.

He reaches JJ and stands in front of him for a second, continuing our fear.

The one of us with the most worried look is JJ, which is understandable.

I bite my bottom lip,

I relax a little as I remember who it is we are watching,

Simon Minter, wouldn't hurt a fly.

Well, I thought, until last night, but he was drunk and angry.

I have a lot of faith in him to resolve this conflict successfully.

He fulfils my hopes as he wraps his long, slender arms around JJ's shoulders, engulfing him in a hug.

A few sighs of relief are let out, along with one from JJ, who hugs Simon back when he realises what is happening.

They hug for quite a while and I notice Harry looks like he is about to say something, which I'm sure will be amusing.

"You two are gay together I swear" he laughs.

Of course.

They move away from each other as everyone else laughs.

"Oh shut up" Simon laughs,

JJ laughs too.

As all the boys are laughing and not really paying attention to the situation anymore, but my eyes are focused on Simon and JJ.

I notice Simon look over to me,

We make eye contact and he smiles to me widely, his eyes look incredible, genuine happiness running through them.

God how I love him.

He stares at me for a couple seconds longer, before his face alters.

I know that face, he just thought of something important, something he needs to say.

He drops his smile significantly, leaning towards JJ and whispering something in his ear.

I'd like to know what he said, but my hearing is no where near that good.

Ill ask him about it later.

JJ looks towards Simon, clearly reacting to whatever his statement was with a smile, laugh and a shake of his head.

JJ holds one finger out to Simon, indicating that he was going somewhere, but would be back in a minute.

I watch him as he walks over to me, sitting down in what was Simon's chair and smiling to me.

"Hey" I say,

"Hey"

He clears his throat, but not as if he wanted everyone's attention, just to make sure that he started this next sentence correctly, "I'm so sorry Jade"

I smile to him, that same element of pity returning to my expression.

"It's okay JJ, you were drunk, so was I, I get it"

He smiles at me,

Honestly I don't think he was expecting such a nice reaction, therefore he didn't plan a returning statement in his head.

I lean forward and wrap my arms around his neck, which causes him to hug me back for a short time.

We both pull away after not long at all and I look up to Simon, to see him smiling at the two of us.

I smile back at him, glad that everyone was okay again.

"Thank you" I mouth to Simon, appreciative of his forgiving nature.

He just smiles even wider, winking as he does so.
