6-"they'll love you"

I take my black ripped jeans out of my draw and put them on, with a plain kaki top and a black velvet chocker.

I go and my phone see that I have a twitter message from Simon, "I'll be 5 minutes", 5 minutes ago.

I put my phone down and hear a knock at the door downstairs.

Saying goodbye to Ethan, my dad and Adele, I walk outside to see him.

"Hey" he says "you ready?"

"Yeah, lets go" I say, shutting the door behind me.

"Have you eaten?" He says, as we walk to the car.

"No, I woke up too late for breakfast" I say, laughing.

"Do want to get some lunch?" He says, opening the passenger side door for me to get in.

"Sure" I say, smiling.

"the video I did with Ethan is going out today, but I'm worried that I'll get loads of hate" I say, looking down at my hands as he drives.

"they'll love you" he said taking my hand, "look at how quickly you made friends with all of us" he says, looking into my eyes as we stop at the traffic lights.

The light goes from red to green and he drops my hand and looks back to the road.

Did we seriously just have a moment?

This is crazy,he was probably just being friendly.

"what's your darkest secret?" I say, looking at him, while he watches the road.

"the boys make fun of me, because I watch the opera on a Friday night" he says, sounding serious.

"No way!" I say, giggling a little bit. "that's so cute" I laugh even more.

He smiles over at me and laughs, before pretending to be upset.

WHY IS EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM SO CUTE

"what about you Jade? what dark secrets do you have?"

"Ohhh, nothing much, just the gang obviously"

"What?" He says, his eyebrows furrowed.

"I'm joking" I laugh. "I don't know, I can't think of anything"

He comes round to open my door, as usual and I step out of the car.

"Thank you" I say, smiling.

He shuts the car door behind me and I look around the underground car park that we're in.

He goes first up multiple slopes and I follow him, "we nearly there yet?" I say, sick of walking round a car park.

"Nearly" he replies.

We find the exit and walk through a large shopping centre.

"You know you should bring me shopping" I say, jokingly.

"Nice try" he says, grinning at me.

"Here we are" he says, guiding me to a small café.

"Table for two please" he says, walking in.

"You brought a date Simon?" The waiter laughs, looking me up and down, clearly a friend of Simon's.

"No Manny, this is Jade, Ethan's kind of step sister." He says.

"In that case," he begins, "I'm Manny, it's nice to meet you Jade" he smiles 

"Nice to meet you too" I say,

"Have you met Tobi?" He says.

"Um...yeah" I say, hesitating in confusion as to why he asked.

"He's my brother" he says, laughing.

"Will you get us a table now Manny?" Simon says, laughing.

"Oh, yeah...sure come this way"

We eat our meal, pay and leave, before Simon says,

"You any good at football?"

"I guess" I say, "I used to play for a team"

"Nice" he says, smiling.

"You could come along sometime, film a football video with us all.

"That would be great" I say, smiling again.

Ethan: "Videos going up at 6" I read.

"I can't wait" I reply, in actual fact, my feelings are mixed, I don't know whether they'll hate me or love me, either way I'll be glad when they stop thinking I'm Simons girlfriend.

Simon drives us both back to his, just in time for me to see the video get released.

"Q&A with a special guest...."

I smile as my twitter followers start to grow.

I see that I have a text message from Adele:

"The video is great! Me & your dad are proud of you both! Xx"

"Thank you ☺️ xx" I reply.

"I told you they'd love you" Simon says, as I explain the nice comments I am getting.

"You should see my mentions" he says, laughing.

"Thank god you're not Simon's girlfriend! 😅" I read out, causing us both to laugh.

"Yeah, thank god for that!" Simon says, waiting for a reaction.

"Hey!" I say, pretending to be moody, before he nudges me and causes me to laugh.

He moves closer to me on the sofa and the laughing stops as he leans in to kiss me.
