22-"Please"

I am awoken by movement,

I can feel one arm under my legs, and another under my back. My face is pressed close up to something too, and it is clear that whoever's arms I am in, is carrying me somewhere.

My eyes mostly open and awake now, I can see the boy above me. Simon.

"I'm sorry" I whisper, aware that everyone else is asleep.

He doesn't say anything, just sighs.

"I didn't do it Simon, I want you, not him"

"I know" this confuses me, "I just couldn't stand the thought of you kissing someone else."

"Awh Simon, I'm sorry" by now, I was getting quite upset.

"Don't"

I look at the room around me, my room.

Simon places me down on my bed and headed for the door.

"Goodnight Jade" he says, bluntly

"Simon" he turns back around to me, "stay with me, just for a bit"

"Jade I'm tired I--"

"Please Simon" I pause, "you never get tired"

He sighs and walks back over to me, sitting on my bed with me.

I'm still in Tobi's jumper and my leggings, but I don't care. I can't ruin any moment that may happen from now.

I move my legs underneath the covers, resting my back on the cushions and the backboard, before motioning to him to do the same.

Once we are both comfortably sat there, we don't make eye contact, just stare at the wall opposite us. A few minutes of silence pass.

"Why did you wait outside for me?" He asks, looking towards me finally.

Right now, I find it difficult to look at him, for what's happened, so I just take my eyes around the room, never focusing on one thing.

"I wanted to make sure you were okay, but I guess I fell asleep" I laugh.

He doesn't laugh with me like he usually would. I've really messed up.

He doesn't say anything "Baby I'm so sorry"

He smiles slightly at this, "you know I can't stay mad at you when you're talking like that"

I don't reply this time, just smile widely as I see his originally small smile, growing into his usual cheeky grin.

I lean towards him, wrapping my arms around his neck and bringing him closer to me.

"I mean it, I really am sorry" I whisper.

"Jade, its okay. Let's just forget about this okay?"

I sigh, "oka--"

I am cut off by the unexpected feel of his lips on mine. As startled as I am, I'm not pulling away. I need this.

We move closer and closer, always connected.

I end up with one leg either side of him, as he sits against the back of the bed.

His long, warm arms are around my waist and mine are around his neck, and right now, there's no where else I want to be.

I pull away and rest my head in his chest,

I feel the movement of his chest as he exhales deeply.

I feel him kiss the top of my head, so I begin running my fingers through his soft hair.

After a while, I whisper: "at least they all know now" with a little bit of a giggle to prevent any offence that might have been taken.

I look up to him also, to see his reaction.

In doing that, I notice that he has fallen asleep, so after giggling to myself, I move back down and then wrap my arms back around his waist,

I close my eyes, but say one last thing before a light sleepiness falls upon me:

"I love you Simon Minter"

Sorry for the slow/short update ❤️❤️

I've been caught up with a lot of things recently & haven't really had the motivation to write much :(

But on the good side I'm back on it now & I am going to Upload Event!! I'm also going to see Sarah (Sarah Close) live in September and I'm very very excited!!!! Aahhhhhhhhhh 😂🤦‍♀️

It's also a week yesterday until I go to see Blink 182 live ahah, even though I'm going to be busy over the next few months, I'll still try & update as much as possible ❤️❤️
