There was a loud banging on the door.

Ren stirred. The knock rang out again.

He shifted on the bed and tried to lift himself. He met with a solid resistance over his hands. He tried again. His eyesight was still adjusting to the room. It was all a haze. The room was too dark now, swimming. He had no idea what was going on. Everyone knew better than to bother him tonight, of all nights. Come to think of it, where was his delightful wife? She had been in his arms once. Now they were locked over his head.

The knock sounded a third time.

General Hux angrily shouted, "Ren, Rancor hell, man!" The door thudded again. "Are you there?"

"Yeah," Ren called back, "Kinda busy tonight. Wanted some time alone." As if the reasons weren't obvious. He swelled with pride, even though he wasn't sure which way was up.

"Well get used to it! The damn girl has escaped again, this time in a Tie-Fighter, and under your neglectful watch!"

Ren paused, fully taking in the information. "Rey. The girl...my wife, has escaped?"

"Yes! The Leader Snoke will not stand for this. What's wrong with you?"

Ren realized his arms were tied, restrained by something. "Hammered, can't move," he admitted. Parts of the evening were a blur now, but he certainly didn't remember any bondage. It wasn't the sort of thing he would have tried with her on the first night.

Hux bellowed, "We haven't time for this!" Ren could see the look on Hux's face without seeing the look on his face. Sheer panic mixed with a fear of failure. The General was so predictable.

Captain Phasma made her presence known. She tapped the door and her apathetic tone asked, "Are you decent?"

He wasn't even sure. He shifted, straining his eyes in the dim light. The bed sheet sat over his waist. Although, it didn't make sense. He'd been way too hot for cover. There'd been a fire. Regardless, he wasn't fully exposed.

"I think so," he muttered.

He heard Phasma give a dejected sigh and before he realized it, she was through the door and turning on the light. Ren winced as it blinded him for a second. Then he saw the problem. His hands were, in fact, tied to the side of the bed with strands from a shredded silk pillowcase. The room filled with Phasma and Hux, followed by several stormtroopers.

He reddened as the each abruptly halted in shock. They were gaping at his captive state. The clear signs that he had been a prisoner of love. He pulled on the ties again, but they wouldn't give. His wife had tied him in the worse sort of knots. Now everyone in First Order would know that his virgin bride had loved him and left him, literally.

"Oh my," Phasma cleared her throat and, like a good solider, respectively looked away.

General Hux bitterly clamped his jaw shut.
