"So what's the plan?" Dan asked as he shrugged out of his restraints during his and Phil's session together.
Phil lifted his clipboard and started writing random notes.
"We're going to leave at night, that's when the least amount of people are around. We can only bring what we can carry and I know a way out that no one will notice."
"Okay sounds like you know what you're doing, but what if someone sees us?" Dan asked. Phil began doodling and completely forgetting the notes. It didn't matter anyways, they'd be gone by the next morning.
"Then we run, I guess."
"But what if they attack us or try to tell someone?"
"Then we knock them out or...if we have to, we kill them." Phil shivered. He had never hurt anyone before...well except for Dan, and that left him sleepless for years. He hoped helping Dan escape would make up for that at least.
"Are you sure you can do that Phil?"
Phil looked up at his ex boyfriend, dressed in a long sleeved, tan jumper that honestly looked like a potato sack. He had to restrain himself from pinning him to the table and...okay calm yourself Phillip.
"If I have to I will. The people here are evil. I won't hurt any patients, but if it's life or death for us. I'll do what I have to." Phil said sternly.
Dan nodded with a half smile and pulled his sleeves up over his knuckles, rubbing his palms together.
"What will we do after we escape? Where will we go?" Dan asked after a few moments of silence.
"We can walk to the train station, it isn't too far from here. I'll buy us tickets for the next train out of here. I'm not sure of where we can go from there, but we can figure that out along the way." Phil exclaimed.
"I think I know a place." Dan said, sounding unsure.
"Yeah? Where?"
"The barn," Dan said carefully, looking for a reaction in Phil's eyes. "The barn that I-"
"I know." Phil interrupted. "I know; I remember."
"If you have a problem with it, I understand."
"I don't. I-I trust you; and it's the only good option we have at the moment."
Dan didn't reply, so Phil looked up to see what he was doing. He dropped his clipboard on the table when, instead of sitting across from him, Dan was suddenly gone.
Before he could turn around, Phil felt a pair of arms snake around his neck.
"If you have to defend yourself. Maybe I should teach you a few moves to prepare." He felt Dan's breath against the shell of his ear, making him shiver.
"Show me then." Phil agreed.
"Alright, but don't be afraid to go hard on me, I can handle it." Dan said in a sultry voice that Phil had definitely never heard him use before. He gulped as he felt Dan press a kiss on his temple and pull away, slowly.
"Well stand up and try to fight me." Dan giggled.
Phil quickly gathered his thoughts and stood up. He didn't really know how to start; he thought of all the cool kill bill and Buffy the vampire fight scenes he'd seen, but he couldn't imagine recovering from a high kick or a cool backflip maneuver. He was, sadly, a man capable of very little movement without injury.
As Phil was lost in his thoughts, Dan took the opportunity to swing his leg underneath him, literally sweeping him off his feet. Phil gasped as he felt a moment of weightlessness and closed his eyes, waiting for the cold linoleum floor to crack against his skin.
At the last moment before his painful fate, Phil felt Dan's arms catch him.
Phil quickly latched his arms around Dan's shoulders, grasping onto his jumper. He opened his eyes to see Dan giving him the biggest smirk.
"No fair! I wasn't ready!" Phil groaned as he lightly slapped Dan's chest.
"First rule of fighting, never lose your guard." Dan laughed. Phil huffed, thinking of a hundred arguments to reply with.
Dan helped him up and suddenly pressed his lips against Phil's. Phil sighed in content; completely forgetting and forgiving Dan in that moment.
"Phil?" Dan asked when he pulled away.
"Yeah?"
"You would do anything for me right?" Dan asked, caressing Phil's cheek.
"Of course." Phil replied without needing even a moment of thought.
"Can you do me a favor, then?"
