The incident left me a little disturbed. The entire time during the next class I felt like everyone was trying to trouble me some way or the other. I couldn't concentrate in class at all.
Finally when class was over, we had lunch break. Adrien and Eric had to go for laps, so I had no other choice but to sit alone during lunch.
I went to my locker to keep my books inside and headed towards the cafeteria. When I reached there I saw that I didn't know anyone else except Addison. She came up to me and told me to sit with her. I agreed. We got our trays and we sat down to eat when she asked me, "So angels feel hungry too?"
I looked at her, raising an eyebrow questioningly. "I'm no more an angel." I said. "Oh, right. I shouldn't have asked that. I'm sorry." She said and started eating. "But, how did you turn into a human?" She asked and instantly shook her head. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to pry. I won't ask any more qustions."
"It's okay. You must be curious. I turned this way when I accidently saved a human from death." I said. She widened her eyes in shock. "You saved a human from death? How was that an accident?" She asked, filled with curiousity.
"Hey Trixie?" Someone said. I turned to see who it was when that someone splashed water on my face. I wiped the water off my face to see who it was. It was that girl, Ashley. The one who tripped me over and also threw a ball at me in gym class. Behind her was another girl, Heather. That's what Eric told. I still remember. "What is your problem with me? What have I even done to you?" I asked.
"Nothing much, except trying to take my Adrien away from me." She screamed. What? Her Adrien? "Have you two met before?" I asked.
"No. But how does that matter? He's mine so stay away from him." She said and pointed her finger at me.
"You haven't met him before and you both hardly talk, how is he yours?"
"Stop showing off! You might live with him and might spend all your time with him, but that doesn't mean you show off. You're the reason why I don't get any time to spend with him. It's because you always stick next to him. You even managed to sit right next to him!" She screamed. I looked at Addison, thinking that maybe she might know what was going on. But she shrugged and herself looked so shocked at Ashley's sudden reaction.
"So back off, okay? I'm warning you." She said and turned around to leave. I still hadn't understood the situation and had my mouth opened in confusion, trying to figure out what she told.
I guess she still wasn't satisfied, so she came back and said, "And I know he's not your cousin. I'm not that dumb. You don't even resemble, even a bit." I hope she doesn't come back after this.
She must be insane. How can someone fall for someone in such a short time? I mean Adrien and I joined this school together. How was he hers? I decided to forget all this.
"I think you should tell Adrien about this." Addison said.
"Nah. I don't think so. He might fall in trouble again, because of me." I said.
"But he needs to know." She argued. I shrugged and started talking about something else to spend my time for the rest of the break.
After school was over and Adrien and I reached home, I observed one thing while on the way back about Adrien and Eric. They didn't seem mad anymore about whatever happened.
While on the way, when I asked him, "Hey. What about your detention with Eric? Aren't you both staying back?"
"You want me to?" He asked.
"No I didn't mean that." I said. "I'm just asking. Did Mr. Williams let you two off the hook or something?"
"Something like that. He saw us while we were taking laps. I don't know what changed his mind but he said it was okay to go home." He had said.
