A/N- I've become quite a lazy writer because I've been publishing the chapters really slowly. But please bear with me. Although holidays have started, other things have come up because of which my chapters have been late.
But, I'm trying my best to post the chapters as soon as I can, so please let me know how they were through your votes and comments. They mean a lot to me.
Happy Reading!❤

"Are you alright?" Eric asked as he helped me up. I nodded and I was going to ask him how he came to know I was in trouble when I saw Adrien.
He was talking with Daniel and the rest. It was less of a conversation and more of an argument. I could hear them scream from so far away. I was about to walk towards him to pull him out of their argument when I felt dizzy again. The symptoms must still be there.
Eric held my arm and said, "Don't walk. You seem quite weak."
"But Adrien's in trouble. Why don't you help him out?" I asked him.
"I tried. But he said he could handle it and asked me to take care of you." He said.
"And you listened to him?" I asked. "He told you to go away so that you wouldn't fall in trouble and you just listened to him?"
"Why are you getting mad?" He asked.
"I'm sorry. I just... I can't see Adrien hurt after all that he's done for me." I said.
He had a sad expression on his face and looked at me. Why did you ask me to go then? Won't you care if I get hurt?
"What did you say?" I asked him. I heard that voice again. Did Eric just say that?
"Huh? I didn't say anything." He said sounding suprised. My thoughts were distracted when I heard the sound of a punch. I turned to look at Adrien's direction, and found him lying on the ground with Edward and Andrew kicking him.
I pulled Eric's hand away from mine and ran towards Adrien. "Stop!" I screamed. I heard Eric screaming behind me saying it was dangerous to go near them. But I didn't listen.
I pushed Edward and Andrew aside and gently put Adrien's head on my lap. His blinked his eyes to see me better.
"Eric! Where are you?" He screamed as loud as he could, but Eric was already pulling Daniel by the collar and pushing him onto the empty road.
"Why do you go so far to trouble her?" He screamed. "Don't you have something better to do rather then just going around and poking your nose in everyone's business?" He asked holding his collar again and pulling him up.
"Eric..." I whispered. Adrien was still on my lap and he was beginning to lose consciousness. "Adrien keep your eyes open, okay?" I said cupping his face with my hands. "Don't close them."
As I looked up to see Eric, I saw that he was pacing towards me. I looked behind him to see where Daniel and the others were, but they weren't there.
"I got rid of them." He said reading my expression. "I should have handled it in the first place rather then letting Adrien handle it."
"You know how he is." I said to him. "He acts as though he's tough, but inside he wants someone's help. Although he never realizes it."
"Just because my eyes are closed that doesn't mean my ears are too." Adrien whispered, but loud enough for me to hear. I smiled at him and hit his head. "Don't act too tough then." I said. "You were screaming for help when those guys were hitting you."
