One thing became clear to me, I was starting to remember things, but very slowly. It felt awful for not knowing something that should be known by an angel.

"Shouldn't we be running?" Adrien asked.

"I don't know. I really don't remember the way out of here and it's better we go outside safely with whoever those people are." I replied not sure about what I was saying.

"Are you mad? Trixie! I can't get caught! I'll go back to the dungeons and we'll be back on square one." He replied.

"You are starting to receive your memories back, little by little, but your are successful. Let's run now and try remembering the way out of here later, okay?" Adrien explained. We could hear the voices coming closer and a part of me felt scared but the other part was safe and relieved.

But why was I feeling relieved and safe? Was it because I had Adrien by my side?

"You're right Adrien. I have a lot going in my mind and I need some time to sort it out." I replied, ignoring my own thoughts. Now's not the time for this. I need to save Adrien.

After a while of running and listening to the footsteps coming nearer, Adrien and I decided to hide. It was pointless to run away because after a point of time we would be caught.

Thankfully on our way be saw a huge rock laid down next to a huge tree. We ran towards the tree and hid, trying to make no noises. The woods were dead silent and even our breathing could be heard.

Thankfully the angels who came to get us didn't hear anything and moved on ahead.

"Okay. So you know the name of this place. You didn't before. How?" Adrien asked, still trying to catch his breath.

"I don't know..." I replied.

I reached down and held Adrien's hand. I wanted to feel his warmth again. I was so terrified and scared and wanted to get out of here.

"Are you okay?" Adrien asked, holding my hand tightly.

I slightly nod, trying to convince myself that I am okay, even though I know I'm not.
"I think I know the way out of here. And I'm going to finish everything once and for all." I replied.

"What do you have in mind?" Adrien asked.

"If the king can make you confess, so can I." I said. I got up, Adrien's hand still in mine. He got up too and we ran towards the way I lead him.

Mystic woods are the angel world's most magical place of all, and anything can happen there. That's why people are in search of these woods, but not many have found them. While I was in the human world, I think the king found out a way and eventually found the woods. He was scared I would go to the woods, and he his fear turned into reality, but he tried to stop me by calling me to the court and threatening me by hurting Adrien. He knew that the wood's magical ability would bring back my lost memories, and he didn't want that, for a reason I do not know. He fears something and that's what I have to find out.

I explained everything I understood to Adrien on the way. He nods his head in agreement. "Good thinking." He replied. "How do you plan to find the king's fears?"

"I have to think about that, but I'll find a way." I replied.

"What about your past memories?" Adrien asked.

"I remember them, and I remember Carl, as well and everything that happened. I'll tell you all about them after this mess is cleaned." I replied and we continued on our way. The bright sunlight hits us as we come out of the cool woods.

I take Adrien to a small hut, a place I would call my home, in the angel world.

We go in and Adrien looks around the place as I search for a glass. I pour in a few potions I find in the closet.

It's weird how I remember what each and every potion is for, when I didn't just a few hours ago.

I mix the potions to get a strong confession potion. The confession potion Adrien drank would not work on the king as he has his powers. But I do know of a way to strengthen the potion. The king fears something, and fear break spells. If I can figure out the king's fear, I would be able to mix a very strong potion.

"What was the king doing when you reached the palace?" I asked.

"He was standing behind a gate and called someone named Zid or Zed or something like that." He replied.

"Zeid." I corrected him. "He's the prince. What were they doing?"

"They were talking about prisoners and eventually talked about me." He said.

"Talking about you?" I asked, surprised.

"Yeah, and then Zeid called me inside to meet the king." He explained.

"Did you drink The confession before or after meeting the king?" I asked.

"I think it was... before I met the king. Yes, I remember, it was before meeting the king. Why do you ask?" He asked.

"Since the potion was given to you before, that means the king planned on getting you inside the palace even before you met the prince. The prince was given the task to get you inside the palace somehow and you walked right into the trap." I replied.

"How was I supposed to know?" He asked and sighed.

"So since they planned on getting you inside the palace, they planned on getting me there too." I thought out loud, ignoring what Adrien just said.

"What are you trying to say?" Adrien asked.

"That all of this was planned." I replied, suddenly realizing that maybe the king wanted me to show him the way to the woods.

"I think I understood why my powers aren't with me. And also who took them away." I suddenly shouted and looked at Adrien who gave me a blank expression.

I hugged him tightly because of my excitement. It took me a while to figure that it was a little awkward because Adrien didn't hug me back. I slowly parted from him, kind of disappointed that Adrien didn't hug me. Suddenly Adrien held my waist with his hands and turned me to him, surprising me.

"What ever made you happy just now, even though I don't know what it is, I'm happy if you are." He said and pulled me into a hug, his hands reaching the top of my head. I could feel he was smiling, and I smiled too, feeling safe in his embrace.
