(Excuse the long A/N at the end, but do read it.)

Adrien's POV

Eric was in front of me as I walked behind him. We reached a waterfall and I looked around to see a few people, I mean angels trying a few tricks.

To be honest, it is going to take longer than I expected for me to get used to all these new things. It was so weird looking at books floating in the air with just a small movement of the finger.

I kept looking around and turned to see what Eric was doing when I realised that I lost him. He was nowhere to be seen. I wondered where he roamed off to without me.

I didn't hesitate and moved on ahead, hoping to eventually meet him on the way. I passed by a few more parks and reached the backside of a palace-looking like building.

"Who are you?" I heard a voice from behind me. I turned to see a boy of my age standing just a few steps away from me.

"Umm, are you talking to me?" I asked him, nervous of making my first conversation with a stranger here.

"No one else seems to be trespassing here. I asked who you were and I haven't gotten an answer yet." He replied raising his head with a firm expression on his face. "I shall tell my father about your rude attitude. You aren't even bowing down to me!" He seemed angry for some reason I couldn't quite point out.

"I don't understand why I should tell you who I am and why I should bow down to you. Does everyone do that to each other here?" I asked him getting a little frusterated of his behavior.

He scoffed and replied, "Why are you acting like you don't know anything?"

I couldn't answer that question. He'd figure out I was human. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to tell anyone who I really am. What if they lock me up again? I don't want to be locked up again, away from Trixie.

So I bowed down to him and said, "I'm sorry I didn't do this sooner, and I apologize for my behavior too. I should get going then." I turned around and started walking away but stopped as I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"It's alright. You do rather seem like an interesting person. Come along with me." He said.

He turned the other way walking to a secret door attached to the palace-looking like building. Did he live there?

I followed him, because I didn't know what else to do and looked back, just once, confirming that neither Trixie nor Eric were anywhere near to save my life today.

"What's your name?" The boy asked.

"Oh, uh, I-I I'm Adri-," I was about to say but was interrupted by a shout.

"Zeid!" Someone shouted.

The boy in front of me ran at once. Was his name Zeid? I ran behind him as I heard him say, "Yes Papa?"

He entered a dome-shaped enterance to a garden and I heard him say another few things about some prisoners of who I hadn't heard of. It seemed like he was incharge of all the captured prisioners, which made me feel very uncomfortable as I was one myself.

I didn't enter the garden where they were standing, but instead stood behind a wall that separated the two. I thought of running away, but there were too many people who could notice me and complain, saying I might have been a thief; and in between all my thoughts, I heard Zeid telling about me to his father. I literally skipped a heart beat.

"Wait, I'll get him." Zeid said as I heard his footsteps approaching me. I was so nervous and anxious that I didn't know what to do.

"There you are." He said as he approached me. I took a deep breath and thought of an excuse so that I could run away without any issues.
