Chapter 2 "Encounter."

The night was one where everything normal would change. Caira continued to run to the shelter where Alex and the others waited after the attack. Aiden, Maya and Gill pursued Caira angered while planning something drastic. About the others, they proceeded in waiting and looked around.

"What's taking that girl so long?" Petra wondered as she looked out the window with her arms crossed. "Did she get lost or something?"

"She should've been back by now." Olivia stated as she rose a brow. "I could've sworn I gave her instructions." She rubbed her chin.

Alex got up going near the door. "I'll go find her. I can track her down." She confidently said as she got prepared.

Lukas looked to Alex with a raised brow. "Track her down? How?" He wondered.

The blonde turned to him and grinned as her eyes flashed gold for a mere millisecond. "Wait and see." She said.

Meanwhile, Caira succeeded in reaching the cabin. She slammed her fists furiously on the doors only for it to open and she quickly ran in dropping to her knees in the middle of the room. The dark haired girl's lungs burned with fire as she took deep breaths, beads of sweat dropping. "Whoa!" Jesse yelled as she rushed over placing a hand on Caira's back. "Are you okay?!"

"N-No!" Caira trembled as she held her chest and found her composure.

Alex went over with a brow raised and crossed her arms. "Girl, I was just about to go after you, what the hell happened?" She asked.

"I-I nearly got jumped by some asshats." Caira revealed as all of everyone's eyes widened.

"Who?" John asked.

Caira looked to Jesse and her friends. "Th-They said they were looking for you guys? I got their names, Aiden, Maya, and Gill." She explained as she got back up with the help of Petra.

"Ugh...I thought we'd never see them again." Axel complained as he glared at the ground and crossed his arms with a pissed expression.

"Y'all know them?" Alex questioned with a brow raised.

"Let's just say we've got a history with them. And it's not a good one. Aiden's not the kind of person to let grudges go." Jesse explained as she prepared a weapon, her friends doing the same.

Furious knocking was on the door. "Hey!" It was obviously Aiden who was banging on the door.

Alex turned to the others and gave a serious expression. "Hide. Now. We'll handle this." She said. The others obeying and hiding in certain places, waiting for something.

The door busted open, Aiden and his two friends running in. Caira looked up and her eyes widened a bit as she stood back up. "Damn!"

Maya looked and got out her sword aiming it at Alex's face with a shabby glare. "Who are you?" She questioned upon seeing her.

Alex crossed her arms raising a brow as she stared. "Uh..."

"Put it away, Maya." Aiden demanded the girl with a red shirt. Maya scoffed as she put away her sword.

"Why do I already feel this is a bad crowd?" Alex questioned.

Gill chuckled as he put both of his arms up, flexing his muscles, yet he barely had any. "Because we're-"

He was cut off by Alex who rolled her eyes. "The Blaze Rods. I know." She coldly told him.

Maya glared at Alex, obviously wanting to get out her blade and attack. Gill only smirked and chuckled as he held up his arms. "Blaze Rods!" He yelled.

"Shut up Gill!" Aiden growled as Gill giggled stopping. He looked to Caira and sharpened his glare. "Well well well, if it isn't you."

Caira held her side as she returned the glare while slightly gulping. "Nice to see you again, Asshole."
