All was better now, Caira, with he help of friend now lover Desmond, escaped Thor leaving their friends and family shocked at the matter. Moving on was an option.

The sound of birds tweeting rang through the outside sun.

The laughter of children playing.

The smell of fresh food.

The feeling of comfort.

And lastly, the sight of land.

"Hey look! Snowbending!" Young, now 5 year old Ronan shouted, gathering up a large ball of snow and throwing it. "Yeeet!"

"You call that a snowball?! Watch this?!" Now 7 year old Connor exclaimed, rolling up a ball of snow with the help of 3 year old Antreus and Freya.

"Kids! Be careful!" Caira shouted, holding a tray with cups of tea. She felt a pair of arms tie around her and chuckled when lips connected to her neck. "Ah! Desmond! I've got my hands full!"

Desmond only gave a muffled chuckle. "Just wanted to check up on my darling. And..." He held up a mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows on top, bits of peppermint bark.

Caira smiled setting down the tray and turning around, allowing him to littl take her into a kiss while grabbing the mug as well. "You're the sweetest." She took a drink from the hot chocolate, before sharing it with her lover.

"Eww! Please don't make me get the spray bottle!" A shout came, both looked to find Corbin standing there with a brow up and his arms crossed "And right in front of the kids?!"

"Oh come on Cor!" Caira said.

"Get yourself a lady!" Desmond said, looking back to Caira with a grin, both were about to connect their lips when Leon walked in between them.

"Coming through! And enough with the mushy crap!" He shouted, holding up a plate full of food. Desmond and Caira only shook their heads, deciding to just keep their noses and foreheads pressed together.

"Hey Uncle Chris! Check it out!" Chris looked over at Blaze, who used her firebending to create a boulder shaped ball. His eyes widened slightly at that. 'Why does that remind me of something?' He thought.

"Coming through with the fried chicken and fish!" Ethan called out, holding up a large bowl with fried chicken in on hand, a bowl of fish in the other, while walking towards a table of food. Mia went over with a container of Ciorba de Legume she made. Everyone else gathered around either talking or playing with the children.

"Kali! Nova! So glad you guys could make it!" Caira called out.

Nova held her children's hands, Satoshi and Natasha, chuckling. "Oh, we wouldn't miss it."

"Not for the world." Kali allowed her son and daughter, Bi-Han and Layla to go play with the other kids.

Desmond whispered in Caira's ear, "Be right back." He kissed her cheek before he quickly rushed off into the house.

Caira watched with a brow raised until Sheva grabbed her by the arm. "Can you help me with something?" Caira nodded, going to her and adjusting the table. "So, How's life with Desmond?"

"Amazing to be honest. With him, I feel free." Caira chuckled. "He even went out of his way to gave me breakfast-in-bed this morning."

"Aww, how sweet!" Sheva said. "When am I going to hear some big news?" She grinned.

Caira blushed a bit, letting out a small laugh. "The time will come."
