The M.N.S.T.R situation was absolute hell for everyone. Caira and a mind-controlled Alex fought nearly to the death while the others dealt with several incoming agents and Dr. Kasica along with Nurse Ledger himself. Even after saving Alex, The Band and The Order still felt resentment towards Caira who was defended by Logan and Jean. When they arrived back at the safe haven mansion, they didn't expect to find four people with a black jet, people who came for Caira. It was at that moment Logan realized, they were the ones going to take Caira back.
Caira's Point of View.
I went up to Abby hugging her, she gave me a pat on the back. "Thank goodness, you're safe."
"I...I didn't think you guys were coming." I replied, she pulled away, holding me by the shoulders and looking at my face.
"Of course I came for you." She said. "Everyone misses you, I missed you, they're all waiting for you to come back." We both heard a throat cough, and looked to see Logan standing there. "Oh, who are they?"
A nervous feeling rose in my chest, I looked to her and back at Logan. "That's the man who saved me, his name is Logan."
Abby gave a nod towards him and the others before looking back to me. "I'll thank him later but, now would be a good time to go back. We don't have any longer."
I found Daken and Laura staring at me with upset expressions, I saw the tears in Jean's eyes. Thinking for a moment, I looked to Abby. "Can you give me just a few? Let me get my things and well...I want to talk to Logan for a few minutes."
She nodded, before going to the jet. "We'll wait for you, but don't take too long, okay?" She asked, I gave a nod in response before running back to Logan and the others, opening the door, letting those who hated me inside as well. I went up to my room, grabbing my backpack and putting what I had inside. Chunky barked, running over to me, obviously happy to see me. I knelt down stroking his little head. "Hey little guy...We're going home..." I silently told him, before gently picking him up. I grabbed my Wolverine plush, staring at it before I hugged it. No joke, I was going to miss Logan, Jean, Daken, and Laura. They felt like they were apart of my family but, my duties here were done, I have to go now. At least for a while.
As I walked downstairs, Laura and Daken ran over to me, sad faces covering them. "You...You're really leaving?" Laura asked.
I slowly gave a nod, my expression softening upon seeing Daken close his eyes. I gently held my hand up to his face. "I'm going to miss you...Both of you..."
Daken held my hand and quickly hugged me, his nose touched my shoulder. "Goddammit, why do you have to leave?..."
I hugged him back, closing my eyes, taking a bit before replying. "I'm going back...I...I have to. My time here is done..."
Laura joined in on the hug, her eyes looking at mine. "I hope we see you again one day..."
I gave her a nod, resting my head on Daken's muscled arm and placing my hand on Laura's back. "Me too, Laura. Maybe some time in the future."
Chunk let out a little whine, I let Daken and Laura pet him before I went up to Logan and Jean. "So...This is it?" Logan asked.
Once again, I gave a nod, looking down a bit. "Yes, It is."
Jean stammered for a moment, trying to catch her words. Her voice cracked as she placed a hand on my shoulder. "Y-You know...Wh-Whenever you want or need to...Y-You're always welcome back here...Y-You can always come back and take a visit...."
The last sentence wasn't true, I knew it. The so called band I used to be a fan of, and the Order wouldn't want me back here, not even the Blaze Rods or Alex. I gave a sigh as I bowed my head a little. "Thanks Jean but...I don't know if that'll ever happen...I'm sorry..." I saw her let out a few tears, yanking me into a hug.
