Chapter 16 "Demons"

A brother injured, Caira devastated and holding his hand, refusing to leave his side. Only ones there for her were Zuko, and surprisingly, Logan and Jean. Upon hearing a Volturi member was the one to have attacked Corbin, the wolf pack knew this would call for drastic measures.

Caira's Point of View.

I could barely stay awake but I couldn't sleep either. How can I? After witnessing my own twin brother just nearly get murdered? I can't just leave his side. I continued to stick by Corbin. "Hey Corbin." I spoke to him. "Keep fighting for me, will you?"

"Of course he'll keep fighting kid! He's Corbin! I'm sure he'll be fine!" I looked to find a familiar red and black clad bastard sitting in a chair eating a bowl of ramen. He held out the food. "You want a bite? You haven't eaten in awhile." He suddenly stood up and gave a giggle. "Oooh, let's go shoot up some people!"

I only shook my head and just heard, "Do you ever shut up, Wilson?" The voice was obviously Logan.

"How many times have I told him to please leave?" I found Zuko coming in with a brow raised. "Is he really like this?"

I only shrugged. "Sometimes he's-" I was cut off by Deadpool.

"Unbelievably awesome!" He shouted.

Just then, I heard a groan, I glanced up to find my brother's finger moving. His face was scrunching up. "Cor?..." I asked.

Corbin slowly opened his eyes, moving them to find me, seeing the smile coming to my face. "Cai?..."

"Oh!" I exclaimed in relief, gently leaning down and hugging my brother. "Corbin!" I let out a cry of happiness, I was so glad to see my brother alive!

I felt his arms slowly reach to return my embrace. His forearm touched my back, holding me in a firm grip. "What happened?....All I was remember was being attacked..."

"You merely passed out, but, you recovered just fine." Zuko spoke, both of us looked to him. "You can get out of bed when the doctor says you're good and ready."

"How you feeling, my other bub?" Logan asked.

Corbin looked and his eyes widened upon seeing Logan. He gave a wide smile as he slowly sat up. "Logan!" He exclaimed, Logan giving him a hug and a pat on the back. I gave a chuckle at the sight. "How are you?" Corbin asked.

"Worried about you two." Logan said. "Talked with a friend or two. Getting arrangement made for you both now that we're here."

"Really?" I asked. "What's that suppose to mean?"

"It means you'll be doing service in another station, even near here." I looked to find the Chief of Police, Lin Beifong coming in. "Now I need to ask you both some questions."

Corbin and I looked at each other, then back at her. "Now?"

Beifong sat down getting out a notepad and a pen. "Yes." She replied. "Start with explaining about Azula."

My eyes widened slightly at the mention of her. I nervously looked to Corbin who only gave a small nod as if saying. 'Go ahead and tell them.' I returned the nod before turning back to Beifong. "Well...Noth much to say except she taught me and Corbin for awhile." I watched as wrote down notes before continuing. "She told me one story, about how I looked alot like Ozai." That's when Zuko stood closer and every once in awhile he would glance to me. "I figured she only did that just to provoke me...Then when Corbin and I left, she said something about me learning a thing or two from Ozai..." I trailed off.

Beifong finished jotting down her notes. "Thank you, I appreciate your cooperation." She stood up and walked out with Zuko, I could only suppose they were going to talk.
