Nothing will ever be ok, with the fight that ensued between Caira's two ex-husbands, a poor child was injured in the process. Not only did that happen but Alex finding out about the relationship between Clayre and Allie, not knowing how it affected the kids. More was to come in, perhaps, something new.

Third Person Point of View.

"Only a minor wound. He'll live." A deep baritone voice said, a black clad hand observing little Azrael's head. The young toddler hugged his fire ferret plush and held a bat symbol in his hand.

"Thanks Batman." He said.

"Yea, thanks Bruce." Caira said, Corbin, Zuko, Logan, Jean, and her husband Desmond Miles stood along with her.

The little boy hugged the tall man in a bat costume. Bruce chuckled a bit, slowly picking him up. Azrael reached up with his tiny hands grabbing the bat mask. The Dark Knight slowly took it off and placed it on him. "You're a brave kid." He commented.

"I want to be you when I get big." Azrael muttered as he laid his small head on the bat symbol covering Batman's chest.

A small smile came to Caira's face as she watched the sight. Her shoulder was covered by the hand of her husband. This was the only time she felt a sense of calmness. "How's the little one?" They looked to find Jacob and the pack, standing there, the Alpha had his arms crossed.

"He's fine." Corbin said, seeing a few more others coming into the room to check on Azrael. The little boy only contently slept in Batman's arms causing an 'aww' to come from everyone. The Big Bad Bat was holding a child in his arms, he only gave them the usual bat-glare while rubbing Azrael's back.

While that happened, a groaning Alex laid in her guest bed, staring out the window, thoughts running through her head. Her injuries healed from the hands of Carlisle. The same heavy feeling still stuck to her, worsening after the Gohan and Thor incident last night. She couldn't bring herself to stand up, she just laid there, moping. Wondering about her family.

Little did she know...

Jenny's Point of View.

We sat in the same room for hours now. LJ and Jay were huddled up by their window seat while DJ ate a thing of cereal slobbering a bit, CM was focused on painting her nails. I was sitting on the couch, reading Joesph a story as Mama Clayre couldn't do it because her situation with that Allie woman. "So...What does anyone want to do?" DJ asked, his mouth full.

LJ looked at him with a raised brow. "What is there to do?"

"I...I kind of want to go see mom...Our biological mom I mean..." I told them. It was true. I wondered where our mom was. Where could she be after what happened literally two days ago?

"Where could she be though?" CM asked, looking up from her colored nails. "I mean, what are the chances we'll even find her?"

"Can't you ask your Aunt Caira?" Jay said.

"We can try asking her. Plus, I think it'd be nice if we got away from here for awhile. I'm tired of hearing Allie's shouting." DJ groaned.

"What can we do about it?" LJ asked.

I was going to speak up when I heard arguing from outside the room. I sighed. "Speak of the devil." My youngest brother whimpered, I quickly covered Joseph's ears, he was only four years old after all. He shouldn't be hearing any of this.

"How! Many! Times! Do I! Have to! Say it!" There went Allie screaming, obviously throwing one of her temper tantrums.

"Allie, Calm down!" Mama Clayre cried, I felt bad about her having to deal with that bitch. For the year they were dating, Allie has actually been nothing but trouble. It's evident that Allie is actually trying to replace my real mother. But now that my mom is back, she's biting at everyone.
