"Wisconsin Dells."
MarchxSailor
Ah...the Wisconsin Dells.
I'm heading for the Kalahari with only Sailor, and I've got a room booked for us for one night. I got to come here on my own (and have the money to pay for it) because my parents won the lottery! My parents decided to split it equally among each of the members of our family. Yeah, it's been very exciting at my household as we all plan how to spend it.
My parents told me that I could spend money on ONE ANYTHING and the rest of my portion would go to my college fund. Spoil sports, I wanted a new car to go with this! Or two! But the plans I made for this trip are literally making me giddy with barely-contained glee as I drive Sailor and I up to the Kalahari.
"So tell me what this place is like again, March?" asked Sailor as she nods her head to the beat of Bach that she has blasting in Silver Bullet. She's a huge geek like that, but I'm quite the nerd myself, so no wonder I fell in love with her.
I explained, "The Kalahari is the largest indoor water park in the world, includes the first water slide to go UP, they've got an African savanna theme going on, and I reserved the whirlpool cabana for us in the water park itself."
"Any downfalls?" inquired Sailor.
I thought about it. "It's always really cold everywhere, the lines for the slides are long, but those are easy to work around. Don't worry about it."
"It's nice to get far away for spring break. Everything's been so busy...thank you, March." Sailor smiled at me and the very bottom of my heart even melted for her. I love this girl.

We arrive and I send the valet service scurrying off with my car. I have our luggage loaded on one of those carts that little kids enjoy riding uncontrollably on and we strolled into the front entrance.
The front, the lobby itself is big. The skylight above us make the coin fountain gleam and Sailor's eyes glow wide with surprise. In the corner to the bottom left of the revolving doors we came in through, is a fireplace still burning. The animals in the carving around the place flow through the wood into each other. I see a water buffalo, a leopard, a proud male lion, and a massive elephant, the focus of the carving, hangs over the fireplace so far that the trunk and tusks poke further of the carving than the rest.
The coin fountain has several elephant statues, for an elephant is the logo of the Kalahari, and some crocodiles statue jaws snap up and down. A showcase with some real baby lions sleeping has a crowd gathered around it, cooing over them.
We check in and take the elevator up to the fourth floor. The air is indeed cold up here, so Sailor huddles against me as I walk and push the luggage cart to our room. What I said about it being a bad thing that it's so cold here? Never mind that, Sailor is practically cuddling me. Win!
We swipe the card, enter, and barely unpack. We're hoping to get to the water park right away. Sailor gets her swimsuit out and goes in the bathroom to change. I kinda wish that she would've changed in front of me, but I would've jumped her. And I can't do that to her. Not until she's in bed with me. Kidding! Well, mostly.
I changed quickly while Sailor was in the bathroom.

I'm a total pervert, I know, but I can't stop checking out Sailor while she's not looking.
Two words: pink bikini. Two more words: total hottie. She works it, really! Sailor's always going to be a babe anyway to me, no matter what, but still...this girl is looking sizzling! I have a bikini on too, I guess, but who cares? Sailor's where it's at! Although if a guy comes up to her and hits on her, I'll kick his -ss. She's kinda/almost/really mine.
