I broke up with Abbott a few weeks ago. I'm honestly not into him anymore. It was kinda painful to break up after two years, but Jam was right. If I don't like him anymore, I need to cut things off. It was hurting me on the inside.

Abbott came up to me in the hallway at school and we started talking. We're still friends, just not...boyfriend and girlfriend. Thank God, I could barely have handled being in that relationship any longer.

Abbott teased me, "So...are you interested in Jam?"

"What? Ahahahahaha not at all. But I am interested in someone." I revealed.

What brought this conversation up? I must not have been paying close attention.

Abbott started thinking about it. "Remi?"

"No." I realized this was getting serious.

"Virgo?"

"No."

"Serendipity?"

"No."

"Sailor?"

"What?! No! And who is this 'Sailor,' you're talking about? I don't know any Sailors! Is this a guy Sailor that you can hook me up with?!" I pretended to get super excited.

Abbott answered, "This is a girl we're talking about here, my cousin, Sailor, who lives in another town not far from here."

I opened my mouth to speak but Abbott cut me off.

"I know you like girls, March. After you broke up with me, I started listening more to what you would say in the hallways, hoping to hear the key to what I could use to get us back together. But instead, I always heard you talking about Sailor. Sailor this and Sailor that. Sometimes there'd be a brief mention of Remi or whoever Dawn is, but you'd unfailingly come back to talking about my good old cousin Sailor. Don't say that this isn't the Sailor you were talking about, I called her, and I asked her if she knew you. She said yes, very well. I'm not blind, March, I see many things. I catch on to many things. You think I'm so stupid, the ex-boyfriend that you're so over with, but pasts have a way of coming around to bite you. Watch your back." Abbott pushed past me and stalked off.

Well, sh-t. I seem to have underestimated him.

Note: Yes, this was short. I didn't really find a point to this besides to portray Abbott as a little more intelligent and tricky to deal with than March did; she basically seems like she can manipulate him and get away with it, over and over. But she didn't really in this one-shot, did she? I'm considering using Abbott a little more, as an antagonist that's not really evil, but just...gets in the way of March being with Sailor. Comment about it? I need to know what you readers do and don't like about the one-shots I've posted so far. I haven't given Jam much of an introduction, but I've mentioned her a couple times. She'll get more of a chapter soon, don't worry.

P.S. The song is basically what Abbott's thinking inside his head...minus the 'half your age' part because Sailor's about a year older than March.
