Ebony's pov

We watched Gavin for a bit. Never once did he turn around but suddenly he said,
"Don't just stand there come in."

We all looked at each other. He had to be joking. We stepped forward as a group, Ghost, Toast, and I staying in front of the twins.

Gavin turned to face us smiling.
"I suppose you're here because of my associate. MAXWELL!"

Maxwell came through a wall beside us. He looked at us with a smirk.
"What did I tell you Gavin? They're here."

Gavin nodded.
"You were right. Now that they're here, I only have one thing left to do, well, two actually."
He picked up a vial and dripped a few drops of its contents onto a knife.
"I'm truly sorry about this Johnathan. Oh wait, no I'm not!"
He hurled the knife at Toast.

It struck Toast hard in the stomach. A clear kill shot. The twins screamed as he fell to the ground.
"Relax," I said, "He'll be back in a few seconds. He respawns pretty quickly."

Gavin laughed.
"Not this time. Thanks to my new friend I've killed him permanently."

Laughter filled the room.
"Oh, oh, that is too precious. You actually believed that."

I turned my head to see who was talking. I couldn't believe what I saw. It was Annabelle but something was wrong. Her eyes glowed a bright yellow and her pupils were slitted like a cat's eyes.

Dipper and Mabel both yelled at the same time.
"NO!"

Annabelle smiled.
"Hello Pine Tree, Shooting Star. Miss me?"
