Ebony's pov

We had just entered the town and it was a good thing because I was staring to get bored. I had already watched every episode of Miraculous and Sherlock.

"We're here," Toast called from the front seat.

We all hopped out of the Van and looked up at the building we were parked in front of. It was a log cabin kinda building with big letters on the roof spelling out Mystery Shack, or, it would have had the s from shack not been missing. The place looked pretty empty aside from a goat that was sleeping on the porch.
"Now what?"

"Well," said Ghost. "Let's ask if they've seen her."

A bell rang as we opened the door to the gift shop. A girl was at the counter, probably about thirteen, she had long brown hair, braces, and was wearing a sweater with a troll doll on it. I walked up to the counter and knocked on it to pull her attention away from her magazine.

"Oh hi, I'm Mable. How may I help you?"

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and showed her a picture of Annabelle.
"Have you seen this person?"

"Ask your friend there. He came in with her yesterday."
I looked around and noticed a boy, same age as the girl, probably her twin.

Ghost raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?"

The boy pointed at Toast.
"He came in with her yesterday and asked what we knew about killing vampires. He was pretty rude about it too."

Toast shook his head.
"But that's impossible. We just arrived in town. How could-?"
He stopped.
"I know who Maxwell is working with."
Toast pointed at the boy.
"What did you tell them. I need to know exactly what you said."

The boy shrugged.
"I told him that you could only kill a vampire by cutting off the head. The stuff about garlic and sunlight is a myth. Garlic does nothing and sun only weakens vampires, unless they're Day walkers. Holy water can harm them pretty bad though. The names Dipper by the way."

Ghost seemed to understand by this point.
"We need to get back to the van. ASAP! This changes things."
