Jimmy's pov
I pulled on the hand cuffs. If Cardboard Friend did show up I didn't want to be around when it happened. While the others explained what Cardboard Friend was, Ghost and I just sat in a corner with Gregory. The three of us had no clue why we were all separated now, but I kinda liked it. Now if I could just escape the handcuffs.
Annabelle's pov
Everything was dark. The pictures still floated by. Most were to fast to see but I was able to grab one. It was of a girl. She had short, dark brown hair and dark hazel eyes. Her skin was kinda pale and she was skinny like a skeleton. Her smile made me feel something. It felt like the smile was aimed directly at me.
I caught a few more pictures. Most were of the girl again. A few were of a little boy with shaggy brown hair and green and silver eyes. The pictures became more and more familiar and suddenly I heard someone.
"Buckshot! You around here?"
I recognized that name. I recognized that voice.
"Maxwell!"
I saw him coming my way and was excited for a moment, until I remembered the rest. This was his fault. I glared at him.
"What do you want?"He came a bit closer before stopping. He gave me something that was somewhere between a smile and a grimace.
"Look, I know ya probably blame me for this whole thing but I don't care right now. The others sent me in to wake you up, and seeing as how I've done that, I best be on my way."He disappeared and left me alone again. The area around me wasn't so dark anymore. The walls were covered in the pictures I'd been desperately grasping at. Some were happy pictures, others not so much. I remembered everything now. I knew what Bill was up to. Now it was my job to stop him.
