Gavin's pov

I ran and hid behind Johnathan. Ebony didn't actually seem to be following through on that threat but I wasn't taking any chances. It had been a while since we had gotten to the shack, and Johnathan was beginning to shake worse than Ghost.
"Johnathan, is everything alright?"

He looked at me.
"Well I'm getting extremely anxious and you know what happens when I get anxious."

I groaned.
"You stress eat."

He nodded.

One of the old guys in the room, I think his name was Ford, spoke up.
"Considering I think I know what was in that bottle, and you said it was the only one not in your van, I'm going to assume that's bad."

Johnathan sighed.
"Extremely. If everyone in this building wants to continue living then I suggest someone helps me make a run to the van. We can grab my bag, the tea, and some weapons."

Dipper looked freaked out.
"Are you kidding. Going out there is game over. We need to stay here and come up with a plan!"

Ghost spoke up.
"Well I for one think Johnny's plan is a good one. I'll come with."

I nodded.
"I'll come too. Mostly because I'm beginning to feel a bit claustrophobic in here."

Ebony didn't look up.
"Well if you're gonna go then you better be quick."

We all started towards the door and carefully walked out. Everything had gone to hell. Colors were inverted and mixed up, animals were running around with random extra limbs, it was a madhouse. The van was a good distance away but seemed like it had been unaffected.

Each of us had a weapon. I had my revolver, Johnathan had a crossbow, and Ghost had a knife and a pistol. We made a mad dash for the van and climbed inside. Inside, we each grabbed as many supplies as we could carry. Everything was going perfectly until we got out of the van again.

"Well if it isn't Jailbird, Toaster Strudel, and Trigger Happy. Fancy seeing you here."
Bill had been waiting for us. Of course. I was stupid to think it would be that easy.

He looked at our bags and laughed.
"Seems like you could stand to lighten that load."
He snapped his fingers and Johnathan's bag filled with bottles disappeared.
"That's better. Now, I'll let you go and pretend like you can stop me. For now. But before I do that, let's mess with the rules a bit."
He snapped his fingers and suddenly Ghost went from being one person to being three. The first was the original Ghost, the second looked similar but with black hair and red eyes, obviously Jimmy, but the last was a child, probably about five or six, he looked like a younger version of Ghost except he didn't have a hoodie, just a plain blue t-shirt. And with that Bill was gone again.

Johnathan seemed to understand better than I did.
"We need to get inside NOW!"
