Jimmy's pov
Ghostie, Toaster, Greggs, and I all climbed into a nearby golf cart and drove off into the woods. We saw these weird bat-eyeball hybrids which really freaked out Ghostie. I thought it was hilarious. Greggs seemed to be enjoying himself and I was excited to have him back around. Ghostie and him may technically be the same person but they couldn't be more different.
While Toaster was focused on driving and Ghostie was shooting anything that came close, I worked on picking the lock on the handcuffs. I was almost out when we stopped in a clearing. In the middle were a bunch of big pink and blue crystals surrounded by smaller ones.
"Well," said Toaster. "Let's see. We need three blue and one pink."
While he and Ghostie were busy finding crystals I watched a squirrel run through the light reflected by the pink and then blue. In the pink light it shrank and in the blue it grew back to normal size. (I apologize if it was the other way around) I got an idea.
As casually as I could I stuck the edge of my end of the handcuffs in the blue light. It grew big enough so that I was able to slip out and grab Knifey. I was just sneaking off when-
"Jimmy. Whewe awe you going?"
Ghostie and Toaster turned to look at me, then at the empty handcuff. They seemed pretty mad. I pocketed Knifey and crossed my arms.
"What?!"Ghostie glared at me.
"We have more important things to do Jimmy."I looked between him and Greggs. He gave me a puppy dog look and looked like he was about to cry.
"Ugh! Fine! Let's just get back."
