Ebony's pov

We had Pacifica, and Wendy. According to Annabelle both were important to this "prophecy" but apparently all the others not at the Mystery Shack were long dead now.

As we made our way back I tried to make conversation with the other two, since Annabelle seemed to be in a silent mood. Something about her was definitely wrong, every once and a while her flame exploded bright then died down again.

We were almost back to the shack when Annabelle held her hand up for us to stop.
"I heard something."
Her voice was slightly distorted. It worried me.

Pacifica sneered.
"It was probably just a squirrel or something can we go now?"

Suddenly, a huge monster charged out of the trees to our right. I didn't really have time to get a good look at it though because Annabelle instantly attacked it. Within seconds it was nothing but a mass of blood and burnt fur. We kept walking. We were too stunned to say anything.

When we arrived at the Shack we found that the demon trap had been replaced with a wheel of some kind, showing Bill surrounding by a bunch of random symbols. Ford looked up at us as he finished painting it.
"Oh good you're-"
He stopped when he saw we only had two people with us.

We had been sent out to get five.

"Where are they?"

Wendy pointed to Annabelle.
"According to Miss fire pants, they're dead."
Her voice caught.
"All of them."

Stan groaned sadly.
"Well we're going to die."

Ford shook his head.
"No. We'll figure something out as soon as the others get back with McGuck-"

"Dead."
Everyone got really quiet. We all looked to Annabelle. She nodded.
"Yep. Besides, the others won't be back for a while, if at all. CBF has run off with Mable, Dipper is searching for her, and Gavin and Maxwell are in the bunker doing... something."

"Dude, how do you know all this?"

"Well Wendy, it's very simple. I've had a malevolent demon messing around inside my brain for a month and it's given me vague super powers that allow me to know these things."

Stan gave a skeptical look.
"That sounds incredibly stupid."

She just nodded in agreement. That's when the P.I.E. team, Jimmy, and Gregory burst through the door.
