Keith had a headache. It didn't feel like a normal headache nor migraine either. His temples throbbed as a ghosted item touched his forehead. It started immediately as he had gotten out of the nice hot shower and nagged him until he arrived to the kitchen to raid food from the fridge. Luckily there were leftovers that obviously Hunk had created due to how colorful and appetizing it was. Keith was practically drooling as he began to guzzle down the alien food. Even after he licked his last finger clearing every crumb and bit of sauce of his plate, his head still ached.

Keith sighed and examined his arms to only notice that his muscles looked weak. Hell he looked weak and was weak. His biceps had shrunk just a fraction but Keith could notice right away. Others might look at him like he was crazy but he had little limbs as it was. He always tried to build himself up like Shiro was but it was impossible with his body type. He lost muscle easily if he missed a single day of training and to build up any kind took months on end. It was a long process and this just set him back. Being in that pod degraded him more than helped him.

His chair yelled in the process of him raising from the hard plastic seat. Speaking of Shiro, Keith had promised to go meet the other in the conference room so they could discuss some, 'things'. It probably was about what happened to him and what they discovered in the process, if they found anything out at all. Keith wanted to mention the dreams as well in this informative gathering but the circumstance of this would not lean in Keith's favor. Allura would surely make him describe everyone in eminent detail and he wasn't about to have the whole crew zero in on his dreams that included Lance. Also being that Lance knew this to some degree as well he wouldn't be too confident to admit it either so, he'd be quiet for as long as he could.

...

Keith's eyes narrowed in on the conference room which was only a few feet away from where he was standing but something strange caught his eye. To his left there was a door that was sealed shut but the lights were on. Not only that but being that his hearing was better than most, he could hear a set of voices. He wasn't sure as to whom they belonged to but he knew for sure there was people in there. These voices were whispering as if to keep a secret and Keith wanted in on whatever it was. For all he knew it could have been about him or maybe even Lance.

He crouched low to the ground so his body didn't obstruct any light being filtered in through the small holes plucked in the front of the strange metal door. They were angled so that only those inside could see out, like those wooden bathroom stalls in public restrooms, except metal and in a small hole form.

"Was it really necessary to put him to sleep," a small voice whispered.

Another elder one answered quickly in an accent Keith was familiar with, "If he is sleeping then it is easier to take samples of his brain waves. Being up causes them to fluctuate too much. When one is unconscious they tend to be most vulnerable to mind control."

It was Allura and more than likely Pidge.

"Keith," another voice uttered in a sleepy tone which made his eyes widen.

Was that Lance? Keith couldn't help but blush and bite his lip in curiousity.

"Did he just say Keith's name," now that was definitely Pidge's voice

"I believe so. He has been worried about him recently so he is probably just venting it out via sleeping."

That sounded all too similar to Keith. He was more obsessed than worried and he longed for it not to be true. He wondered what Lance was dreaming about. Was Keith inside his dream? No that wouldn't be possible because if his theory was correct then Lance would be by himself. Keith wasn't sleeping at the moment but now that he thought about it, he felt tired himself and his eyelids seemed awfully droopy. A darkening current burst around him but it was the opposite of a second wind, like the ones you receive gaining a feeling that you had several shots of caffeine at 2 in the morning. Being so close to the door he couldn't help but tilt his torso to lean on the cool metal. In the moment, all was forgotten about his secret mission to eavesdrop on the duo having a discussion about him specifically.
