6 weeks. This took 6 stupid weeks to finish. I apologize since college has been crazy onto of work and keeping my friendships. If you are smol...don't grow up I beg you. Anyway I hope you enjoy this chapter that gave me so much trouble for no reason. I actually really like it a lot so hopefully you do as well. Not sure when the next update will be but hopefully not too long. Again I am so sorry for the wait. I never wanted to make updates this far apart.

A week and 2 days. A week and 5 days. Two weeks. It took Keith all of about 2 weeks to come to terms that Lance may never wake up from his comatose state. A fate worse than going head to head with Zarkon. It was only two weeks in which Keith felt less than threatened to walk away from the stone cold pod that held a precious yet still life form. Even though he managed to find himself in different scenery, it still had something to do with Lance.

"Allura," Keith stormed into the front of the ship as she was tapping away at the air pulling up different windows about various documented records of the Altean war, mostly they consisted of information about her father.

She jumped and swiped away at the screen as all of the data disappeared into thin air; as she turned around with the swivel of her body; dress fluttered at all sides, her hand laid upon her chest as her heartbeat was clearly racing, "Keith, you scared the living Neffian out of me."

"Can you check Lance's vitals for me again," he took no aim to apologize for interrupting or scaring Allura, his hand gripped onto the door tightly as a sight of support.

That caught the Princess's eye but she said nil as she casually strolled over to another monitor that was promptly connected to the healing pod. She should have been acclimated with the sight of Keith storming into every room with a frantic look in his eyes demanding for either her or Coran to check up on Lance. She learned that over the two weeks time she was to be quiet about when giving the other information. If she gave any 'useless comments' as Keith put it many times before, he'd get angry at her.

"39 beats per dobash," She closed the data just as fast as she had pulled it up; give or take she had it up all the time in a separate window, "It's normal."

"If it's the same..." Her eyes studied Keith up and down and opened her mouth to speak but Keith grunted in response and used the wall to pull himself back into the hallway with his weakened grip, "I'll be back."

The shortness of breath and pale lips was what surprised Allura the most. Keith looked like he was back alive from the grave by some evil witches magic. To see one of her paladins in this condition was most concerning and being down one paladin already, she had no idea what was to come from this war that they were unjustly invited into. Aside from Keith, everyone was training in their down time getting prepared for the ultimate moment that would surely determine their war efforts.

"Keith," Allura called his name that held no meaning of hope that he'd actually turn around and listen to her plea to eat and sleep; it wasn't just her but everyone else on the team.

Since Keith woke up believing Lance had magically stepped out of the pod feeling perfectly better, everyone was strangely distant from him. Not that anyone knew he had that dream, unless Pidge did some strange experiments on him while he was in the dream world. He kept trying to convince himself that he didn't need anyone to care about him either way. 'Fine, they didn't have to speak to him if they didn't want.' Maybe they were just fed up with him because of the way he was acting, but in his opinion no one seemed concerned enough for Lance. Keith had taken it all upon himself to be worried for every single person that cared for him. If they had at all.
