Keith was already stalking the barren halls of the ship after he snuck out of the room he trapped himself in. It wasn't too difficult because he found an unkempt escape hatch and slid down the metal casing with boredom on his puckered expression. He never found slides to be "fun" but just a horrible case of burning bum if your backside caught wind of the harsh silvery fire. Even so as he fell down the shaft leading to only god knows where, cobwebs crept into view plainly landing on his face like a sticking fit of crazy glue. Keith promptly plucked the unwanted contents off his dusty face with a sneeze, all the while hitting his head in the compact space.

Once he reached the ground he just mindlessly sauntered along until his surroundings became more and more familiar. Before he knew it, he was standing in front of the sealed entrances that housed the very helpful lions of Voltron. Finally he was able to see Red after what seemed like a good week. It was easy to see how horrible he felt about it due to his watery eyes and slanted stature. Not was it only relayed physically but also mentally. By bottling up those pent up emotions it ended with Keith having a degrading panic attack. All said and done he just needed this with every fiber in his being.

He closed his eyes and placed the palm of his hand on the heavy alien like doors in front of him. His palm was registered, even within their shelters of the gloves he always wore, and the entrance was freely opened as air spouted out in different directions creating Keith's lengthy hair to flutter about his face. Yearning to lock eyes with his infamous red lion he jogged inside the behemoth room to spy a perfect in line formation from right to left; yellow, green, black, red, and blue. All sitting powered down, ready for the next dire moment to spring into action with their paladins. This thought made Keith's mouth crack into a large smile he'd only let pass to Shiro or himself.

"Red," Keith couldn't help but whisper with excitement, "Hey girl."

His jogging slowed as he now stood in front of the colossal mechanic lion with its beautiful red paint strewn about. He clicked his nail on the metal as it echoed around the otherwise "crowded" area.

"Are you sleeping," he asked quietly out of respect for the other lions even though they were mechanical they were still very alive to him, and in turn ran his blackened glove in a swift pet, "Or are you ignoring me again?"

Keith heard a low purr rumble the room and chuckled as Red hummed to life. She dipped her head slowly to the ground as her previously dull eyes glowed a comforting yellow hue to indicated that she was now awake. It was as if she was saying to Keith 'I want to ignore you but I can't' her nose poked at the dirty strands of hair that hung low and ratty near his face. He patted her black nose and glided his fingertips across her white muzzle as a 'sorry'.

"You know I'm not the only one who is neglecting their lion. All of us have been so busy, especially me. I ended up in the healing pod," Keith explained softly, "From Lance of course."

Red grunted in distaste at the use of the blue paladins name but as if to join in on said conversation that was only suppose to remain between Red and Keith, Blue woke up and moseyed her way over.

Why are you guys so harsh on Lance? He's just trying his best ya know.

Keith puckered his lips as his head darted up to watch Blue. Her mouth obviously wasn't moving. Hell what was he even thinking anyway. The lions talking? No way, they could only put ideas in your head. Ha. What a joke.

Are you really talking about this right now? Trying or not he is still a perverted freak who kis-.

"Red," Keith questioned aloud as his mouth opened with disbelief, "W-Wha-"

A useful perverted freak! The least you could do is say a thank you to him Red.

Over my ten million year old hunk of junk body. Red's body swayed as if giving life to her statement. Go back to sleep Blue. You're just jealous because my Keith here, cares enough to give me a visit.
