"It's okay Nylena," Lance spoke while taking a step back shyly, "This can wait I promise it isn't a big deal right now. Didn't you have to discuss more plans with us?"

"I did but it is my fault that you are going through this," she bent her head low as of a way to apologize, "I feel horrible."

Lance flailed his hand around not liking to have a women of this type of status apologize, it was strange to him, "A-Ah no it's fine can we please just change the topic? It's weird talking about it in front of my friends."

He tilted his head over to his fellow paladins giving them the 'I'm sorry but I don't want to talk about this in front of you all' look. They couldn't blame him either because it was some hard to comprehend information for the team. Keith and Lance in some relationship that most would never think to even dream of. It was almost a joke by how bizarre it seemed, how surreal. Even if they had pondered endlessly, what was occurring between the two was real hard to get a firm grasp around in the mind.

Nylena sighed with tired eyes and nodded, "Fine but afterwards I want to have proper talk with you about it."

Lance noted how similar she was compared to his own mother, which only made him wonder if she was one. That wasn't important now though, he would question her about that very thought later when she was interrogating him. Or maybe it was all in his head and he subconsciously missed his mother so much, he mistook Nylena's generosity for a motherly type of trait.

"So how do we find the Keres when they are spirits," Shiro took the stand as Lance gave him a wary smile and began to walk down the steps again.

"No no Lance you are sitting in the chair next to me," Nylena ignored Shiro's question and had her long hand around Lance's wrist.

"But my lady-," Attis began; he was going to go along the lines of saying it wasn't respectful to ask someone else to sit in her husband's throne chair, especially another man.

"It is okay," a smile looked as if it were plastered onto her face, "It is fine my boy. Sit and relax."

Lance, -yet again- did not like the limelight on himself so to not cause another fuss, he just sat down quietly on the plushed throne. Looking down at his friends felt wrong, he never was one to imagine himself a higher status than any of them. He didn't deserve it. They were all too good for him. In the end their paths intertwined like the very vines in the throne room they all congregated. Some vines thicker and stronger than others but still connected in some way shape or form.

Attis, defeated by his own sister (as usual), hung his head with a sigh as she spoke, "As you were. Shiro is it? The Keres' attach themselves to plant life as I am sure you heard of from Attis. To find them is simple. They usually group in certain fields that hold Elelon's. A simple white flower that symbolizes prosperity and growth of vegetation. It contains a light golden hue when a Keres is attached to it. Fitting for what they are trying to accomplish."

"And what are they trying to accomplish," Hunk asked, secretly wishing that war never existed in the first place.

"Domination over Lumiere 7," her eyes darkened, "They never wanted to share this planet with us but only take it for themselves. We were lenient and kind but we can not take the blow amongst our yields of crops any longer. Which is why they need to be stopped. Burned for all the lives they took from the Cybeleion people."

"How do you know that is their real goal though," Pidge asked scratching her head before pushing her glasses higher on her nose, "Sure you can assume but had they declared war on you. Frankly I can't tell if your people had declared war either."

"Pidge," Shiro began but the princess intervened.

"It was said to be declared years ago," Nylena explained further for the confused earthling, "There are no records since they were burned during an invasion."
