"I need that lion," a hardy voice boomed in the room surrounded by nothing; screen monitors took over the place of people.
"You will get your lion but you must be patient," the soldier spoke with a smirk in their tone.
"Did you get into contact with your third party Ny-."
The purple armored man interrupted Zarkon, "Sir, we must keep this under the radar. Continue to disobey the terms I have set and you will never get your spacecraft."
"All I have given you is time. It has been three movements. That is almost one phoeb," Zarkon growled as his yellow eyes flashed with anger, "One phoeb too many!"
"Patience is a virtue Lord Zarkon."
"How dare you speak to me as a lowly subordinate! A coward who hides behind the mask of my people. If you are lying to me, I will kill everyone you love," it was easy to see that he was not a patient man, well cat-thing? But are any evil overlords "patient"? No.
Lance looked around uncertain of the scene before him. He was so use to dreaming of darkness that these sudden images that came to him felt odd. Not to mention but he was dreaming of the '10,000 year old baddie'. To be honest, he forgot the guy even existed. And you know, he almost forgot about blue. It was all so foggy and the dream was not helping.
"As you say my Lord. I apologize for my brutal honesty."
"You remind me of my son. It is quite repulsive," Zarkon snapped, hovering his finger over the button ready to vanish the soldier from the screen, he continued, "You have two quintents. 40 vargas too many. Precious time I can not afford to waste. Get me my lion, Srix."
"Vrepit sa."
Zarkon's lip twitched in annoyance, "Vrepit sa."
Before Lance felt the need to walk away from the scene, he felt a pair of yellow eyes scrutinizing the very space of where he stood. Zarkon stared at him with no emotion present. As if on cue, Lance held his breath to compensate for the quiet. He hadn't acknowledged Lance's presence but he was for another that had entered the room only moments ago.
Slowly but surely he turned around to meet a purple cloaked figure which was easily identifiable as Haggar. She looked unsure. Looked as if the space in front of her was occupied by another celestial body. Lance wasn't sure if he should be glad to feel invisible or concerned that he actually wasn't. Her eyes, void of any sign of emotion matching Zarkon, inspected Lance as an oddity for a few uncomfortable doboshes.
This only lasted for so long as Zarkon finally confirmed Haggar's existence, "How long were you standing there for, witch?"
"Long enough to see how miserably this plan is going to fail you," she scoffed, finally extracting her gaze off the blue Paladin, "Why you agree to trust this rogue is beyond me sire. What more does he possibly have to offer when I could easily extract the essence from this planet and lure out the paladin's. It is simple."
"Trust is nothing but a construct that leads to disappointment. After searching for so long, having my goal so close, I needed an assisting hand. Srix is one of few that knows about uncharted planets, this one is specially included," Zarkon stepped to the side as he faced another computer as if he were about to do another command, "They must not know of my whereabouts just yet. Voltron is better to be confronted by someone they do not know and take them by surprise, which is something I can not do as of right now."
