Maybe describing a whole hand was pushing it, it was more like a chilled finger caressed the inside of Lance's palm as Keith spoke shortly after, "Alright you can...turn around now."

Lance peered up over his shoulder to see Keith's body appearing to be small and delicate as he stood there in Lance's long green jacket. It surprisingly came up to Keith's upper thighs, as all other important extremities were covered wholly. A warm blush crept up on Lance's cheeks as he used his free hand to cover the portion of his face that held a fluttering type of glee that stirred down in the pit of his stomach. His hand unconsciously folded over Keith's index finger giving it a gentle squeeze of reassurance that he was in fact right there, next to Lance-in his jacket, looking like that.

Being that Lance was at a loss of any words that were remotely significant, Keith peered down from the others contemplative beam toward the damaged dusty floor timidly, "W-What?"

"Uh," Lance swallowed and shook his head as he followed through the motions of shifting his body to a straightened posture, "Nothing l-let's go."

With determination and a hint of bewilderment in Lance's large strides, he yanked Keith trailing along to only lurch and wobble with every step. There was only so much he could do to keep up and overall could handle. His legs were still unfit for any type of movement and every step he made, small grains of dirt and leftover brush dug into the sensitive parts of his feet refusing to wipe away. It especially irked him whenever he got random rocks invading his shoes or even if sand somehow managed to find a route directly into his sock from when he lived in the desert. Well technically he still did live there because this was only his temporary home. Either way he always hated hiking around with no socks on un dusted floors so this just topped the cake of disturbance. He rarely was ever seen without his shoes and socks on due to this impending fact, unless he went swimming. But the last time he attempted that in the Altean pools, that he so happened to hear about from Allura, it wasn't exactly where a human could reach. Nonetheless, Lance magically had heard the same thing from Allura so it wasn't hard to put two in two together of what she wanted us to do. Bond obviously, what were you thinking?

"Lance stop walking so fast," my voice croaked trying to withhold the pain, "My feet..."

The brunette halted in his tracks causing room for disaster as Keith tumbled into his back, "Oh sorry I forgot."

"Yeah of course you forgot. You were too busy running like a mad man for no reason," Lance felt holes being burned out of scorn on the back of his very head and a lonely sweat filled finger tug out of his grip.

"I said sorry," Lance gnawed his bottom lip feeling his teeth leaving dented impressions on the once smooth surface, "What do you want me to like hold you or something? I thought you were suppose to be strong."

"Don't test me Lance. I can pin you down in a second and you know that," Keith's dark fluffy eyebrows narrowed from a recognizable competitive gleam, his legs gaining new strength as he closed in to make the threat more convincing, "You would have been complaining 5 minutes ago if you were in my position."

Okay, so what Keith said was true but Lance was looking at the facts that right now he did actually have his shoes on and wasn't in crippling pain, "I'll have you know that I walked on a line of coals before on a dare."

"Really," Keith gave a skeptical tilt of his head.

"No but..," Lance shot his arm up in the air wagging his index finger, "I walked across burning asphalt with no shoes before."

"Uh-huh, so with socks on?"

"Pft. No?"

Keith pushed past Lance continuing on at his own bearable pace, "Yeah okay, well I need to put actual clothes on so if you'd excuse me."
