Keith's chapped lips brushed against Lance's smooth ones as a shaky breath left Keith, "Lance."
In a haze of heated breaths being exchanged between the red and blue paladin, Lance's half eyed gaze studied Keith's soft features. His eyes were closed but not enough because Lance could see the peaking gray that lay underneath his eyelids. All Lance wanted to do was lean forward and bask in the surreal moment of the antagonist in his life story practically being at his mercy. Or was it actually the other way around. Although, he could hear the ping of rationality scratch the back of his mind, he refused to pay any attention to it. This was a bad idea but nothing mattered anymore.
Lance's free hand slithered to Keith's chilled neck as his finger brushed the disappearing bruise, "It's going away."
Keith swallowed as his thick eyelashes fluttered for an instant, "Mhm."
"I don't want it to-," Keith leaned forward pressing their already painfully near lips together cutting off Lance for only just a brief amount of time before hovering his lips once again, "-go away."
"Lance, you talk too much," the jet black haired male spoke softly.
"No I don't," Lance immediately started as he got defensive.
This radiance of competitiveness that suddenly rolled off Lance made Keith smile, "Yes you do."
"You talk too much," Lance retorted back as his other hand came up to grip onto Keith's sweat drenched shirt, "Stupid Mull-"
"You promised not to call me that anymore," Keith chuckled and leaned his forehead on the other in the hilarity of the moment.
"What are you going to do about it then," Lance taunted back as he hid his flustered self behind his usual facade of being the 'best' out of them both.
Keith bit his own lip with a blush of his own, "I'm not going to do anything."
Lance groaned internally at how Keith's flirting abilities were absolute shit. He had set it up perfectly, now either Keith was flat out trying to play hard to get or was actually nervous to say anything more than that. This was the first time he got any action to this type of caliber when going into space but for Keith on the other hand, it was his first time in general. He wasn't going to pass it up either way because ever since he started having those dreams, all of the angst just killed him. Lance playfully opened his mouth to let out a hot breath in the vicinity of Keith's own lip as if he didn't really know what to do with himself.
"Dammit Keith," Lance felt withered as he started to back Keith into the nearest wall, "Do something."
"I don't want to," Keith's voice hitched in his throat when his back hit into the wall officially blocking him in with Lance over powering him.
"Come on," Lance purred into the other's ear earning a shiver from him, "Hurry up. I can't hold up much longer. You started it."
Keith didn't know what to do in this situation, he was never posed to be in something like this before. He didn't mean to start up anything, it just materialized to its own like the plants that grew free on Lumiere. He wanted to go with whatever happened but he honestly didn't even realize what that was. All he wanted was for Lance to not cry anymore, it hurt his own chest seeing those tears come out of the typically positive young man. Secretly Lance gave Keith the reassurance he needed when in a battle of life or death. If he could do better than Lance, even if it's a cheap way to get motivated, Keith always ventured to the best of his ability to accomplish what was needed for a mission. It was a blurred line of where his own confidence had scattered off to when in the void of the never ending space.
