chapter 14

LEXI'S POV

I woke up and jake was still sleeping, since it  was saturday we didn't have to go to school but im guessing that Mr.Walker probab;y already left because there was and extra blanket over me and Jake. Spongebob was still on in the backround. I slowly got up making sure I didn't wake him up and went to the kitchen to make something for breakfast. I looked around the kitchen and I found a note taped to the fridge.

'Princess,

I'm sorry I had to go into work today but no one else was avaliable. I'll take you shopping after I get home, which will be around four thirty five. Be safe

Mr.Walker.'

I smiled a bit, that man was just too nice. I grabbed some waffle mix from the cabinent and cooked them. I was getting some syrup from the top cabinent. It was pretty hard to grab it though it's pretty high up. All the sudden I felt someone grab my midsection.

JAKE'S POV

I had a great sleep, exspecially knowing princess was safe beside me. I opened my eyes and look across the couch only to have my heart drop into my stomach shes not there oh god did they get where is she. I ran to her room and looked through all the rooms and just couldn't find her. I ran into the kitchen and there she was reaching for something in the cabinent. I ran up to her a hugged her around her waist, she was startled but she seemed ok.

"What are you doing I thought you got kidnapped again?"

I know it seems overprotective but I can't let her get taken again. She just looked at me and gestured towards the countertop where two plates that had waffles were. I breathed a sigh of relief she's ok. She just rolled her eyes and grabbed her plate and walked to living where spongebob was still playing. I grabbed my plate and followed a bit embarrased though. We sat there eating in silence, I really wanted to talk to her about becoming part of the packbut I didn't want to scare he off right now. She can't stay rogue ecspecially since shes my mate, hell most the time rogues dont even want to be rogues so it shouldn't be a problem. Hmm I have an idea most the packs going to be at the pack house I'll take her there maybe she'll feel more conforatable if she spends more time with them, I'll make sure were home in time to go shopping with Mr.Walker an dyes i'm going witht them I don't want her out of my sight.

"Princess go get dressed let's go to the pack house."

She just looked at me stubbornly with her arms crossed over her cheast.

"Princess please lets just go"

We had this small staring contest and eventually she just gave up sighed and went upstairs to get ready. When she came back down she was wearing a pairs of ripped skinny jeans and a black shirt with her dark purple sweater she even had a beanie on. We went over to my house so I could take a quick shower and get changed. We left my house and headed to the pack house. The ride there was pretty quiet I wonder if she'll ever let me hear her sweet voice again. We got to the pack house and everone was in the back yard just messing around and having a good time. We both just walked around the back of the hose and we were greated by children running up to princess and dragging over to play tag. I couldn't help but laugh ever since everyone found out that she was my mate they've been really excited to see her again. I went over to some of the other people who were talkiing and joined in on the conversation. Me and Mr and Mrs. Anderson were talking about how the pack house needed to be repainted when were heard the children having fits of laughter, we all looked over and princess had the Andersons kid on the ground and she was tickling him. We started laughing at their antics.

"You know Jake" Mr.Anderson started.

"She's gonna be a great mother and alpha female someday."

I looked back her and she was chasing Andrews sister playing tag though she was letting his sister win.

"Yea I know I just hope she know."

We all sighed and started talking again.

LEXI'S POV

I was playing tag with the pack kids I didn't really want to but their kids you just don't say no to playing. This little boy who said his name was Jeremy tried to take my shoe so I turned around and started tickling him. He was adorable, Jeremy jumped up and ran away laughing. The one boy that died and we went to his house sister come up to me and tagged me and ran away laughing. I ran behind making sure she was still winning.

Around five Jake came over and said that we should head back since Mr.Walker was going to take us shopping. apparently Jake is coming too -.- We left and headed back.

"Seems like everyone likes you princess."

I just smiled I hope they do, wait Lexi no you shouldn't be thinking this way your putting them all endanger. We walked back in the house and Mr.Walker was already there standing by the car I guess Jake must have called him beofre we left. We all got in the car and left heading towards the mall. When we got in there Mr.Walker walked us towards the paint section to pick out colors for my walls. I really had no idea what color to paint it but Jake wispered something in my ear. I smiled, that was an amazing idea I loved it. We picked up the paint colors and walked through the rest of the mall. I didn't want to spend much money but they kept saying don't worry about it theres is plenty of money plenty of it. So we picked up a purple bed spread some gray sheets some paint splattered pillows and lamps and we were all ready. Mr.Walker said we'd start tomorrow morning as soon as everyone was ready. I'm kind of happy even though the feeling deep down that this was all going to end was still lingering.
