Chapter 40

Jake's Pov.

We finally showed up but ashley clung on to me as soon as we got there. I wish she would just stop. We followed the crowd and Matt yelled Todd over. 

"Hey dude" matt said.

"Hey guys glad you could make it; guess what."

"What?" I was curious

"I got this smoking hot girl from school to come, I can't find her now but i''m hoping to get lucky tonight." He winked and walked away looking through the crowd and checking out random girls.

Matt and Carla headed towrads the backyard and I just sat there feeling extremly alone. *sigh* I wish Lexi was here.

LEXI'S POV

I was trying to avoid being crashed into by random drunk teenager when I felt a hand sneak around my waist. I jumped a bit and turned around. It was Todd 

"Hey baby what's up" He starting getting really close so I backed up

"come on why don't you just losen up a bit and have some fun" He started trying to grab my waist. 

I pushed him away and dissapeared into the crowd. I've got to find Jake, I was searching through the crowd and someone suddenly spilt their beer all over me. 

"Great" I mumbled

I walked into the bathroom trying to get the most I could off. Frustrated I just left not much I can do now. But before I checked the mirror I looked tired oh great. I weaved through the crowd trying to find some breathing room. 

I finally found a place somewhat quite to sit after about hald an hour. Most people had already gone outside, so I was sitting on a chair at the counter hoping this party would just end soon. I haven't been able to find Jake and I just wanted to go home I should be able to see him there. I huffed and folded my arms placing my head on them. I felt someone's presence behind me but I didn't think much of it. Suddenly I felt lips on my neck....okay eww. I turned around it was Todd can this guy not take a hint. I got up planning on going outside like everyone else but he put his arms on both sides of me so I was stuck.

"Move" I said placing my hands on his chest trying to push him back.

He just laugh and slurred a bit.

"I know youuwantthis baaabyyy" He breathe smell aweful of beer.

"Leave me alone"

He didn't even move and it was really starting to irratate me. I punched him in the jaw but he just stood there like nothing happened. Ugg I really hate drunk people its like they feel no pain. He kept coming towards me so I pushed him out the open door into a huge crowd of people. He just stood back up and grabbed me forcing me outside. If he doesn't stop he is going to regret it. Suddenly he slapped me.... really really hard.

"Howdar you touchhchch me liike thaatta" He slurred

And before you know it there was a crowd around us chanting 

"FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!"

I just rolled my eyes and was about to walk off when he tried to attack me again. I ducked under his punch and brought me knee up to his stomach causing him to bend over. When he did that I smashed his face into my kneeing knocking him out. I sarted to walk away but I heard him get up again. Damn I really hate drunk people ecspecially drunk teenage boys. He brought out a knife from behind his back. I got into postion to attack, apparently he is getting serious but from behind me I heard an all to familiar growl. I turned around as fast as I could and my heart leapt. JAKE.

JAKE'S POV

I decided it was probably time for me to head to the bathroom, natures been calling for a while. When I got in there I had to kick out two people making out. I locked the door and continued on with my business. I washed my hands and was about to leave when I smelt an extremly enticing and familiar scent. I would know that scent anywhere it's Lexi's it has to be, It was faint but she had to of been in here within the last hour. I practically ripped the door open and ran through the house knocking people over as I went. I tried to find her scent with no luck until I finally and barely picked it up. I followed it all the way outside. When I opened the door I heard screming and people yelling and chanting "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!"

I shoved through the crowd trying to find Lexi and came to the fight itself. It was Todd who was holding a knife and a girl......a girl that looked a lot like Lexi. I felt like I was about to black out emotion was pilling ontop of emotion. I was relieved and excited to see Lexi, But I was fuming that Todd was threatening her. I was so angry my wolf was about to take over. I growled and started seeing red. Lexi turned around shocked. I just barely heard her

"Jake, Jake you've got to calm down" as she said that Todd lunged for her and I pushed her behind me grabbing Jake by the throat. He stuck the kinnfe into my arm but I didn't care I was going to kill him.

"Jake calm down" I started kicking, I couldn't even think straight.

I heard her scream my name in an alpha tone. I turned around suprised suddenly I felt something hit my face and I blacked out.

Okay so I'm hoping to start writing again I'm sorry for the long break I really have been having trouble thinking of what to write. anyway since I'm having trouble and tips or advice would be nice. I can't believe people are still reading this considering it's been getting boring and I haven't updated in so long.
