Chapter Four

The following week, Hinata dropped by her father's house for a short visit..

"How's marriage life treating you?" Hiashi asked as he sat across from his eldest daughter.

"It's amazing father. I just wish mother is still alive to accompany you..." Hinata said gently as she gave her father an empathetic smile.

"It's fine." Hiashi said with a wave of his arm. "I have two girls from her to remember her by. It's sad but I'm sure that she wouldn't want me to wallow in self-pity.."

"Father... I came here to also ask you something..." Hinata began as Hiashi stiffened.

"What is it?"

"I feel someone's been following me. I've been feeling this way since last month..." Hinata confessed and Hiashi studied his daughter carefully.

"Have you told Naruto?"

Hinata's eyes snapped up to her father's.

"What? No! Naruto cannot know! I don't want him to worry!"

"Then what? Have something happen to you then he starts to worry? Hinata, you are living two lives now. You are Naruto's responsibility as much as he is yours. It will kill him if you don't tell him, and if something happens to you he will never forgive himself Hinata..." Hiashi advised his daughter in a gentle tone.

"B-b-but... But I... I don't want him to over react for nothing... What if this feeling is just my paranoia?"

"And when have you ever been paranoid my dear?" Hiashi questioned back.

Hinata raised an eyebrow.

"Are you hiding something from me too father?"

Hiashi maintained his calm expression.

"Hiding what?"

"Sasuke told me Naruto will tell me once he's ready. But it seems you too know what's going on. When I asked Hanabi, she said she suspects you're hiding something too... What is it father? Is it so dangerous to the point Hanabi and I musn't know?" Hinata pleaded but Hiashi shook his head.

"This is Naruto's problem and he himself will tell you alright? I respect his decision and I'm not going to lose his trust by breaking it." Hiashi said with finality as Hinata's shoulders sagged.

She then gave a defeated sigh.

"Fine. I won't push anyone anymore... I'll let Naruto decide..."

"What? How did the letter still get through here then?!?" Naruto demanded to his cousin on the other line.

"Naruto, look last Nagato and I went down to Tokyo to help you sort out things with Shizuka, we didn't expect the matter to be dragged till this long! And you and Nagato saw that I signed the paperwork agreeing that whatever anonymous messages or parcels that are addressed to you will be diverted to me in Kyoto here, second person to be diverted to will be Nagato. So I really don't know how that warning letter from Shizuka arrived at your doorstep! I guess she figured out that to get to you straight it has to be hand-delivered.." Karin tried to not raise her voice at Naruto.

"But..! Fine! Argh! I guess she realised our plan when there's no reaction from me so she decided to resort to this method! Do you know how lucky I am that Hinata chan didn't open the letter?! If she did, she will be worried sick!"

"Look Naruto, don't you think it's about time you told her about Shizuka's threat?"

"What?! Hell no! I don't want her to lose appetite and sleep over this! Do you know that Toneri and Momoshiki showed up at where Hinata chan was few days back?! Thank god I entrusted Sasuke to accompany Hinata chan to the library if not... God knows what would have happened to her with those two creeps around!"

"Huh? Toneri and Momoshiki came? I thought you guys were so updated and keeping tabs on them, how did this information slip past???"

"I have no idea Karin..." Naruto began but suddenly he heard his front door opening.

"Hey I'll talk to you some other time. Hinata chan's home."

"Oh, okay. Stay safe cuz', bye." Karin replied as they both hung up.

Naruto pressed the 'end' button and looked up while smiling.

"Hey princess..." the smile suddenly disappeared from his face...

Naruto's P.O.V.:

"The fuck are you doing here Shizuka! And how the hell did you get into my house?!?" I demanded to the woman who is really doing a good job getting on my nerves...

"Oh baby you forgot to lock the door! And stop with that pretense anger. Aren't you happy to see your fiancée home?" Shizuka gave a huge smile as she took off her coat and threw it onto the couch...

"The hell are you wearing Shizuka?!? Are you crazy barging into my house in just your lingerie?!?"

That bitch had the nerve to shrug at me as she approached me...

"Naruto baby we're fiancé and fiancée... Soon to be husband and wife... So what's wrong if I'm in my lingerie... It's not like you've never seen me in them before..." her voice dropped to a whisper as she neared me but hell no I'm not letting this woman anywhere near me.

"Get out Shizuka! Hinata chan's gonna be home soon and I do not want her to see you!" I shouted as I backed away from her.

"Naruto baby come on! We can squeeze in a few minutes for sex..." Shizuka said as she suddenly lunged at me.

I was caught off guard as I stretched my arms forward and caught her by the shoulders as we both fell to the floor, me being under her...

"Shizuka get the fuck off me!" I growled as I sat up quickly and pushed the crazy bitch off.

Man I really wanna beat the shit out of Shizuka but I'm not a woman beater...

Shizuka didn't seem to get the message and she quickly reached for my jeans and unbuttoned and unzipped it in a second.

My eyes widened as I pushed her arms away and fumbled with my jeans, trying to undo what she did to my jeans at the same time...

As I was standing up again this bitch grabbed my legs and pulled me down as she started crawling to lie on top of me.

Alright I've just had about enough!

"Shizuka stop!!!" I yelled as I grabbed her shoulders to lift her up and my plan was to drag her by the arm and push her out my door but...

"Naruto, I'm home. Sorry I was caught in traf..." my wife's voice floated down the hall as my eyes met her lavender ones.....
