Chapter Thirty-Four
Hinata freaked out when Naruto stared at her so intently as the song ended, not saying anything.
A lot of things ran through her mind as she decided to drop everything and took off...
Did I make a fool out of myself?
Did I get through to him?
Did he sign the divorce papers yet?
Does... Does he still love me...
She was running through the dark alley which is the exit for the music stadium when she heard a familiar voice called her...
"HINATA CHAN!!! PRINCESS WAIT!!!"
Hinata's body immediately stopped as she turned around slowly.
"Thank god you stopped Hinata chan! I was wondering when was my wife able to run faster than me!" Naruto panted as his tuxedo's collar came loose, the tie a bit crumpled...
"Na-Naruto... Naruto k..." Hinata stopped herself before Naruto's eyes widened as he straightened himself, holding onto both her shoulders.
"Hinata chan! Call me Naruto kun! It's fine! I'm fine with it!"
Hinata's eyes started brimming with tears as Naruto shook his head.
"Oh my god Hinata chan please don't cry! You know I hate it when you cry and besides... Your dad and Neji is really gonna kill me if you cry this time since I got all of my memory back!" Naruto pleaded.
Hinata couldn't help it but her lips slowly broke out into a weak smile...
"You... You... You remembered... Everything?"
Naruto nodded excitedly.
"Yes I did Hinata chan!" but then he hung his head. "But I'm so so sorry for what I said to you four months ago... I... I was a true asshole... A true blue asshole... As blue as my own eyes..."
Hinata giggled at his comment before cupping his whiskered cheek.
"It's okay Naruto kun... I forgive you... Whatever is your past, present and future wrongdoings towards me I will always forgive you... That's my vow to you..." Hinata told him gently as Naruto's eyes betrayed him, tears slipping down his cheeks.
"I'm so sorry Hinata chan... I... I couldn't bring myself to sign the divorce papers and submit to your request... I can't live my life without you princess..."
Hinata's eyes softened as she gave a sob before moving her hand to one of his wrists. She took it and placed it on her small but firm stomach.
"He's been waiting three months to meet you... Naruto kun..." the bluenette whispered as it took five seconds for Naruto to digest what she just said...
"Wha... Huh? Ano... Nani? What?!? You mean... You... You're..." he started spluttering as Hinata smiled and nodded at her husband.
"Yes... I am three months pregnant Naruto kun and we're having a boy..."
Naruto's lips slowly quivered as he broke down, pulling Hinata into his arms.
"God... I can't believe... I almost threw you and our child away... I'm so sorry Hinata chan... I am truly undeserving of you princess..."
Hinata couldn't hold back her tears as she slowly wrapped her arms around her blonde husband...
"Naruto kun... I told you it's okay... You lost your memory and you over reacted due to you being confused and angry... I know you didn't mean anything you said..."
Naruto buried his face into her neck, breathing in her familiar lavender smell...
"If I had signed those divorce papers... God I don't even want to think about it... You and our child mean everything to me..."
Hinata didn't answer as she stroked her husband's hair gently...
"By the way Hinata chan..." Naruto sniffed as he pulled away.
"Hm?"
"Happy anniversary Princess Hinata chan..." Naruto smiled before kissing her passionately.
