7 MONTHS INTO NARUTO'S AND HINATA'S MARRIAGE

Naruto gripped the letter in his hand as he crushed it and used his other hand to fumble for his phone in his pocket.

He immediately speed dialled Jiraiya.

"Pops?" Naruto said the moment his godfather picked up.

"Naruto! What's up?"

"Pops I'll just summarise things here for you alright? Shizuka sent me another letter. Actually, this is already the fifth warning letter so far."

Jiraiya frowned at the other end of the line though Naruto can't see him.

"Hmm... She's getting bolder. Where's the address of the letter from?"

"That's the thing pops. Shizuka somehow figured out by using technology or even by post, her messages are not gonna reach me since it will be diverted to Karin or Nagato to filter it out for me. So I guess she resorted to hand-delivered letters since we won't be able to track her down."

"Then have the Uchiha police department install CCTVs around your neighbourhood." Jiraiya answered in a matter-of-fact tone. "Surely you don't need me to tell you that?"

Naruto sighed as he ran his fingers through his messy blonde hair.

"Obito and Itachi already did pops but the CCTVs kept getting vandalised and destroyed so all the footages were corrupted. All of them! The police gave her a warning for the first letter but the subsequent letters are not signed off by her anymore and there are no fingerprints at all so they can't arrest her!"

"Seems Shizuka is really determined to bring you down... What about Toneri and Momoshiki Otsutsuki? They didn't try anything?"

"Other than trying to chat Hinata chan up while their stay here in Tokyo, no. Last Obito and Itachi got info' from the immigration department was that they went back to Kyoto..."

"And Hinata's fine? Everyone's involved fine? No stalker whatsoever other than you?"

"Yea that's the thing... *sigh* So how are things from your side?"

"Well... I've gathered information that Kaguya Otsutsuki is working on something, maybe a new drug... It's not released yet to the public or even to the military... I've yet to uncover the contents of the drug and its purpose though..."

"Ugh! Why can't Shizuka and those Otsutsuki bastards just stop it already?!? I'm losing sleep over this!"

"Then you better catch up on your rest Naruto, I don't want you be caught off guard when they strike. Where are you currently?"

"At the university library. I went home because I forgot my laptop and I found a letter waiting for me under my door... I didn't open it till I reached school and after setting up my laptop only then did I opened it to only find out it's from Shizuka..." Naruto closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"What did the letter say?"

"The same thing. That she's coming for me and will get Hinata chan out of the way... God pops I'm so worried for my wife... Obito and Itachi has stepped up more police patrols around my area and even to follow Hinata chan but so far it seems I'm the only one getting the threats directly..."

"Hmm... That's weird... Threatening Hinata through you but not doing anything to Hinata... Maybe as of yet no... Alright just keep me updated if you have anything. Remember to inform the Uchiha police department too."

Naruto muttered a 'yes pops' before hanging up on Jiraiya.
