Chapter Twenty-Two

*Liv'S P.O.V*
I woke up and realised it was time for the first day of college in America. Me and Amelia were meeting Mikey and Bryce at the college later that day. I'd had a text off sophie this morning saying that they were visiting Rory around dinner time and that they will update us. We were so shocked to hear what had happened to Rory. It was horrible but I'm glad he's okay. We all are. First thing I did was message Mikey when I woke up and as I waited for a reply I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. Followed by this was a change into some clothes and then my hair and subtle make up being done. I smiled to myself in the mirror once I'd finished getting ready and wheeled myself to the living room where I saw amelia looking upset still packing her bags. "Amelia, he'll be okay, I promise." She nodded, sniffed and put her bag over her shoulder before walking out and helping me out. The college wasn't that far away but we decided to drive anyways. Amelia helped me in before putting my chair in the boot and climbing in herself. We drove in silence and then finally reached the college.

I stepped out waiting for amelia before hopping in my chair. This was so weird and strange but I was exited to see what people I'd see. I looked at amelia who was pushing me and I could see the worry in her eyes. I hope she will be ok. We got to the top of the ramp and saw Bryce and Mikey stood waiting. They came over to us and Mikey bent down and kissed me. I kissed back and smiled as I pulled away. "Welcome to your new college guys" he said showing us in. Amelia and Bryce were walking and went off together leaving me and Mikey alone in the corridor. "Mikey, what lesson is first?" I asked having no clue what I was doing or where I was going. "English baby." He pushed me to outside the classroom door. "Ready?" He looked down at me and I nodded taking a deep breath. As he wheeled me in everyone looked. They stopped what they were doing and just stared. Mikey ignored then, rolled me to the back and told the teacher who I was. Whilst he was speaking to the teacher a girl came over to me. "Hey you must be new? So am I." She said giving me a smile. "I'm liv, yes I am new" I smiled back. "Nice to meet you Liv, I'm Halle." She seemed like such a nice girl and I have a feeling that well get along well and become good friends.

English seemed like it went on foreverrrrrr. Me, Mikey and Halle sat together near the back so I was near a chair and we all planned to go for pizza with the others after school tomorrow. Once English was finished we had lunch. "hey Halle why don't you come sit with us at lunch?" I said smiling. She nodded and agreed thanking us and smiling. The bell went meaning it was time for lunch so I climbed out of the chair and got into my wheelchair. I watched as Mikey pushed me and Halle walking to our side. We reached Amelia and Bryce. I sat next to Amelia and Mikey, Halle next to Bryce. Whilst eating, I kept looking up at Bryce and Halle who were giggling away with each other and really getting along. Ha Bryce finally found the one?

*Bryce's P.O.V*
Woah Halle. The new girl who was mates with Liv is just woah. She was beautiful, funny. We spoke for like the whole of lunch chatting and getting to know each other. "So Halle, are you coming back to my place for food tomorrow with everyone?" I smiled asking her. "Yeah I am, I think" she chuckled. "Liv invited me if that's okay with you?" "It's perfect" I smiled at her and she smiled back. Lunch had finished and everyone had different lessons to each other again. Me and Mikey had media and the girls had science. We said goodbye to them and then me and Mikey walked to lesson. "Dude she's perfect." I said to Mikey as we sat down. He knew I was straight away on about Halle. He told me how he was happy for me and that he thinks she's a nice girl and my type. For the rest of the lesson I couldn't stop thinking about her. She was all that was on my mind. I decided to message liv.

Bryce
Hey Liv, could you tell Halle to meet me outside media block after school? Thankssssss x

Liv
Yeah of course x

At that I smiled as I put my phone away and looked to see Mikey looking at me with an eyebrow raised. "What you planning?" He said laughing slightly. "Nothing bro" I laughed. "Just gonna ask her if I can walk her home and then I'll tell her I'll pick her up to bring her back to mine." I nodded and he nodded back. Media seemed to go quicker then normal and the bell went for the end of the day. I packed my bags and swung it over my shoulder before walking out alongside Mikey. I walked to the normal spot where we all met and saw Liv stood with Halle. Mikey and Liv said bye and see you later to us both before leaving to Mikey's car and driving off. "Hey so Liv said you wanted me for something?" Halle said smiling and tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. "Erm yeah just wanted to know if you wanted me to walk you home?" I scratched the back of my head looking at her and she nodded. "Id love that" she replied starting to walk. I smiled to myself before walking besides her and out the school gates.

We laughed and giggled and joked all the way to her house talking about each other and getting to know each other well. I told her my interests and hobbies and she told me mind. She seemed like the perfect girl for me. "So erm how come you wanted to walk me home?" She said laughing looking a bit confused. "I know it might seem strange but I just wanted to get to know you a bit better alone." She nodded. I then handed her, her bag back as I offered to carry it whilst we were walking. "Thank you. Look I should go in" she said smiling and hugging me. I smiled hugging back. "Erm Halle? I was just wondering if maybe one time you wanted to go out for food or maybe on a date sometime?" Shittttt man. I said it. Finally. I watched her facial expressions and a huge grin appeared. "I'd love too." I gave her my number and left. I knew I was seeing her again later at mine so I knew I had to talk more later with her.

I strolled home happy and walked in. I love living alone. Freedom. It's great like seriously. My phone went off in my pocket and I reached for it. It was a message off Halle saying 'hey it's Halle'. I smiled replying and then clicked on the number and saved her in my contacts. Once I'd got in the house and made myself a cup of tea I walked upstairs into my room. I took my top off then my jeans so I was just in my boxers and climbed into bed. I kept texting Halle for a few hours until she finally went to sleep so I put my phone on charge, turned the light off and fell asleep myself.
