Archie Andrews:

Incoming Message: Archiekins <3

We need to talk. Come over?

You had reread that message at least one hundred times, hoping that if you read it enough it wouldn't say that anymore. But every time you glanced at your phone, it was still there. Only after twenty minutes of that, you mustered up the courage to respond.

Outgoing Message: Archiekins <3

I'll be there in ten. Are we okay?

You threw in the last part, knowing you would break down on the walk to his house if you didn't know. You adjusted your hair quickly before beginning the journey to his house. You felt your phone buzz, and pulled it out hastily.

Incoming Message: Archiekins <3

I dunno.

You bit your lip, shoving your phone back into your pocket. What had you done that would have upset him? Nothing came to mine, which only made you worry more.

You felt a huge weight on your shoulders as you knocked on Archie's door. Fred answered only a few seconds later.

"Hey, (y/n), c'mon in!" He exclaimed, opening the door completely. You gave him a small smile, walking inside.

"Is Archie upstairs?" You asked hesitantly. Fred nodded, giving you a smile. You walked up them as slowly as possible, not wanting to have whatever conversation this was. You didn't even bother to knock as you entered Archie's room. He sat on his bed, playing with his hands. You smiled at him, but he didn't return it. He patted the spot beside him, and you sat down. He looked at you with a cold look.

"I think we need to break up." He breathed. You felt your heart stop. You shut your eyes for a moment, comprehending what he had just said.

"Why?" You whispered, worried if you spoke any louder your voice would break.

"We just aren't working out." He sighed. You felt tears streaming down your face, and suddenly you couldn't breathe. You took a deep breath.

"Please don't do this, Archie." You begged. A smile grew on his face, and he pulled out a bouquet of roses from behind him.

"I could never break up with you. Happy anniversary!" He exclaimed. You stared at him, wide eyed. You felt the tears come back.

"What the hell, Archie?" You yelled, shoving the roses away.

"I just, I thought-" He started.

"Why would you do that? I thought my life was over! I gotta go." You exclaimed, rushing out of his house.

"(y/n), wait!" You heard him call, but you didn't.

Jughead Jones:

Jughead had been spending a lot of time with Betty. Like I mean a lot of time. He would blow you off for her, was with her between classes, after school, anytime he was free. You had understood at first, they were working on the blue and gold together. But now it was just getting ridiculous. You sat down at your usual lunch table with the gang, beside Jughead.

"So, Juggy, I was wondering if you wanted to come over tonight? My parents will be out." You suggested, really hoping he didn't have plans with Betty. He barely even glanced at you before answering.

"No. I'm going to Betty's." He muttered. You pursed your lips, facing forwards again. This was the fourth time this week, and it was only Wednesday. You tried to breathe deeply to stop yourself from crying, but it didn't work.

"(y/n), are you okay?" Kevin asked, as he was sitting directly across from you. You shook your head, snatching up your purse. You rushed off towards the school, expecting one f them to follow you. You weren't sure whether to be sad or grateful that no one did.

"What's her deal?" You barely heard Jughead ask. This only made you cry harder. You ran all the way to the girls washroom, staring at yourself in the mirror. You chuckled as your puffy eyes, grabbing a makeup wipe from your bag. You started to remove the streaks your mascara had left.

"I'm so pathetic." You whispered, ashamed that you let this bother you so much. You finally made yourself look presentable just as the bell rang. You groaned, as you had history, with Jughead. You grabbed your books from your locker, and you were about to shut it when familiar arms wrapped around your waist. You instantly knew it was Jughead.

"Let go of me, Jug." You mumbled. He pulled away, giving you a strange look.

"What's your problem? You've been in a mood for like, ever." He scoffed. You felt yourself tear up again, and you just stared at him.

"You're an ass, Jughead." You spat, slamming your locker door shut. You walked towards history, dreading the period to come.

Betty Cooper:

"God, you're so insecure sometimes!" Betty yelled. You couldn't even remember what had started the fight, but it had gotten to an insulting point. That was the final straw for you, Betty knew how you felt about yourself. She regretted it as soon as she said it.

"(y/n), baby, I'm sorry." She pleaded, reaching for your hand. You snatched it away, shaking your head.

"Get out." You muttered. Betty started to cry.

"What?" She asked.

"I said, get out!" You yelled, your voice breaking.

"Babe, I'm so sorry. Let's work through this." She begged. You shook your head.

"Get the hell out. I'm not gonna say it again." You whispered, knowing you would sound weaker if you said it any louder. She nodded, grabbing her coat and rushing out of your room. You curled up on your bed, tears streaming down your face. Soon you were sobbing, wishing you hadn't kicked her out.

Veronica Lodge:

"C'mon, don't worry about it." Veronica said for the fifth time.

"That's not how it works. You can't just tell someone to not worry about the person they love." You spat. Veronica rolled her eyes.

"You don't own me." She argued.

"You're right, Ronnie. But I love you too much to watch you get hurt." You whispered. She scoffed.

"Okay, just because you can't handle anything, doesn't mean I can't." She declared. You looked down, tears pooling in your eyes.

"I didn't know you felt that way about me." You mumbled.

"Well, I do. You're so weak and scared of everything. I don't even know how I ever loved you." She stated. You stared at her.

"You don't love me?" You asked, tears now running down your face. Her face softened, realizing what she had said.

"Oh my god, no, I love you more than anything. I'm so sorry, (y/n)." She burst out. You shook your head.

"I gotta go." You stood, walking out of her apartment. She stared at the door, watching the love of her life leave.
