Hey guys! I've been really pushed for time considering I've been getting ready to go back to school, hanging out with friends, and I've been writing for two separate accounts.  I'm not too sure when Betty's part two will be up, but hopefully it'll be soon!

warnings: none I don't think

a/n - I really don't agree with getting back with someone who cheated but I wrote these so y'all get back together

After you and Jason split, everyone at school had been talking. There was never a moment where you didn't see someone whisper as you, Polly or Jason walked through the halls. Some were even daring enough to ask questions, to which none of you ever responded.

Polly had apologized countless times, but she wasn't the one you were expecting an apology from. You had forgiven her easily, Jason never told her the two of you were together. She had ended things with him right away, which gave you a reason to believe she was telling the truth. But it still hurt just as much.

"(y/n)!" Reggie, one of Jason's football friends called down the hallway. You rolled your eyes but turned around to look at the boy anyway. Jason had been sending his friends to come get you and bring you to him, instead of just apologizing, and you were having none of it.

"What, Reggie?"

"Jason really wants to talk to you," He sighed.

"Well then Jason should come talk to me," You said, raising your eyebrows as you leaned against your locker.

"Don't you think he would? (y/n), every time he's approached you, you get pulled away by your friends. And sometimes you even walk off by yourself! He's tried," Reggie explained, huffing. You shrugged.

"Maybe that's a good thing," You suggested, turning to open your locker.

"Just hear him out," He begged. You remained silent, grabbing your books from your locker.

"You don't need to say anything to him if you don't want, just listen," Reggie continued as you shut your locker slowly.

"I'll think about it, okay?" You suggested, just wanting him to leave you alone. A smile made its way onto his face, and he nodded.

"Progress!" He exclaimed, pumping his fist up into the air as he raced back down the hall. You rolled your eyes, beginning to walk to your class.

After school, you were still pondering over Reggie's offer. It couldn't hurt too bad to just hear Jason out, but you didn't want to have an opportunity to fall for him again. You sighed as you started to walk home, but you didn't get far before a car pulled up beside you. You turned to look as the window rolled down, biting your lip once you saw his red hair.

"Need a ride?" He asked, a guilty smile on his face. You looked around to see Betty and Veronica staring at you, shaking their heads rapidly. You ignored the two, huffing and opening the door against your better judgment. You shut it behind you, dropping your bag and pulling on your seatbelt.

It was terribly silent for a few moments until Jason started the car up again.

"Why did you always refuse to talk to me?" He asked, and you glanced at him. You laughed lightly, before turning your gaze back to the window.

"Tell me you're kidding," You muttered, resting your feet on his dashboard.

"Look, I know what I did was terrible. But shouldn't you have at least wanted to hear me out?" He questioned, his voice quiet.

"You have no idea how much I wanted to hear you out, Jason."

"Then why didn't you?"

"Because! I knew if I didn't give myself some time, I wouldn't be able to make a good decision," You explained.

"So is this it? Not forgiving me is the good decision?" HIs voice raised slightly, and you could tell he was getting angry. You weren't too sure if it was towards you or himself.

"I don't know!" You exclaimed. "Why should I forgive you?"

"I love you, that's why."

"Couldn't think of a better way to show it?" You asked, sarcasm dripping from every word.

"Polly was a huge, huge mistake. The guys were all pushing me to have sex with someone who wasn't you," He explained, pulling the car over. "They told me that they would replace me as captain on the team unless I did it."

You stayed silent, not too sure what to say to that.

"And I should've lost my spot for you. I see that now," He mumbled, and you looked at him.

"It doesn't change the fact that you did it," You said. "Can you take me home, please?"

"(y/n)-"

"Just take me home, Jason."

He sighed, pulling away and heading towards your house.

You went to open the door once he pulled up to your house, but you felt Jason grab your other hand. You turned to him, your glare softening when you saw the tears that sat in his eyes.

"I'm so sorry, okay? I know there's no way to justify what I did, (y/n). But if you give me another shot I can promise you won't regret it," He assured you, and you felt your heart thump. Your brain was telling you to reject him, but your heart was screaming for you to forgive him. You glanced down at the hand that was still grasping yours, and you couldn't bring yourself to say no.

"Okay," You finally whispered, and you felt him flinch.

"Okay? Okay, as in you'll give me another shot?" He asked. You nodded, lacing your fingers with his.

"But, you're taking me to dinner and a movie, and you're paying," You added, replacing your seatbelt that you had taken off.

"You got it, princess."
