YOU BREAK UP

Archie Andrews:

"You've gotta be kidding me, Archie!" You exclaimed. You and Archie had been at it for hours after he forgot about yet another one of your dates. This was the third time this month, and you were fed up.

"(y/n), I'm sorry! I've been so busy with school and football and music, it slipped my mind! It just wasn't a priority!" He tried to reason. You looked down.

"I'm not a priority?" You asked quietly. He scoffed.

"No." He muttered.

"Wow. I didn't expect to be number one, but I had at least hoped to make the list." You spat. Archie rolled his eyes.

"You're so needy!" He yelled.

"Well you're a shitty boyfriend!" You yelled back, venom in your voice. It wasn't true, and you knew that.

"I don't even know why I asked you on a second date! You're the most annoying person I've ever met!" He screamed. That hit you hard, like a ball had his you square in the chest.

"We're done, Archie." You growled. He glanced at you, tears brimming his eyes.

"Good. Fine by me." He confirmed, walking right out of your house. You could tell by his tears that he didn't mean that, but you still found yourself sobbing on your bed. You had just lost the love of your life.

Jughead Jones:

"Jug, please." You begged. "Just tell me why."

Jughead had just broken up with you, without a reason. You had felt as though the two of you were going strong, but apparently he did not.

"Look, (y/n), I love you. But I love someone else more." He finally said. You looked up from your lap.

"What?" You whispered.

"I love someone else." He confirmed. You blinked the tears away that sat in your eyes.

"Who?" You asked. Jughead sighed.

"Betty." He said quietly. You chuckled, shaking your head.

"Of course. I should've known." You spat, standing up from the couch.

"C'mon, don't be like this. I wanna be friends." Jughead pleaded. You scoffed.

"Well, I don't." You stated, walking away. You never wanted to talk to him or Betty again.

Betty Cooper:

Betty's parents despised you, and would treat you terribly whenever you were over. Her mom had just called you a whore, telling you how you were "poisoning" their daughter. You sat up in Betty's room as she fought with her parents downstairs. You were trying hard to stop the tears that were flowing, but you just couldn't. Betty finally came back upstairs, sitting on the bed beside you.

"I'm so sorry." She whispered. You shook your head.

"It's whatever." You mumbled.

"(y/n), it's obviously not whatever. You're crying." She acknowledged.

"I'm fine, Betty." You whispered, attempting to give her a small smile. Your head was pounding, Alice Cooper's words replaying themselves over and over in your head. You burst out into sobs, and Betty quickly wrapped her arms around you.

"I'm so sorry. Nothing they said was true, I love you." Betty assured you.

Once you had stopped crying, you had come to a decision. You couldn't take this anymore, and there was only one way to make sure it stopped.

"We have to break up." You stated.

"What?" Betty asked.

"I'm breaking up with you." You said again, slightly louder.

"Babe, please don't do this." She begged. You shook your head.

"I have to. I'm so sorry." You apologized before rushing out of her house.

Veronica Lodge:

You and Veronica had been at each other's throats for weeks. You fought at school, at Pop's, at home, whenever the two of you were together you were guaranteed to fight. You were in the middle of a particularly nasty one in front of Archie, Jughead, Betty and Kevin all at your house. They were all used to it by now, just watching the two of you stab knives into the other with your hateful words.

"You never listen! God, you're so annoying!" Veronica exclaimed. You rolled your eyes.

"I never listen? You haven't heard a single thing I've said since we got into this relationship!" You fired back.

"Oh shut up, (y/n)! You're such a bitch!" She was full on screaming at this point.

"Ronnie-" Betty started, but she was quickly interrupted.

"I hate you, Veronica!" You screamed back. You and Ronnie didn't even know how you got to this point. The fighting, it all started out of the blue. And every fight got harder and harder to deal with, because you two were in love. But you couldn't take the toxicity of the relationship anymore.

"Then obviously we shouldn't be dating." Veronica acknowledged. You sighed, running your hand through your hair.

"I guess not." You agreed. Ronnie looked at you, tears streaming down her face.

"On three?" She asked quietly. You fought back your own tears, nodding.

"One, two, three." You counted down.

"We're over." You and Ronnie blurted together.

The four bystanders had their mouths gaping open. They didn't expect that at all. Yeah, you and Veronica were constantly fighting but you always got over it and made up quickly. Veronica wiped a few of her tears away. She grabbed her purse, walking calmly out of your house.

"I love you." You barely heard her whisper. You whipped around, gazing into her gorgeous eyes.

"I love you too." You gave her a small smile, and she left.
