Shame On Me - Archie Andrews

Once again, this is late and unedited. The wifi where I am is super patchy and weird, it took thirty minutes to load this page, but hey! It's here! Next part will be up Wednesday (hopefully).

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Everyone could feel the tension between Archie and Veronica throughout Jughead's entire party. Being too drunk to even care, you continued to dance with your boyfriend, who continued to glance at the girl talking to Kevin. The last beer that you had drank had been an hour ago, so you were finally beginning to notice that Archie's attention wasn't on you. You stopped dancing when he walked off, talking to Veronica. You rolled your eyes, not too worried. You knew about Archie and Veronica kissing in the closet, while you and Archie were dating. You had never gotten along with her, but Archie did. You walked into the kitchen to get some water, leaning against the counter.

You had stayed after FP had kicked everyone out, helping Archie, Veronica, Betty and Jughead clean up. You approached Archie, wrapping your arms around his waist, and he turned around to face you. He kissed your cheek, before removing your hands and returning to whatever he was doing. You decided to grab the bags filled with solo cups and other various trash items, slinging them over your shoulder. You made you way down the street, tossing them into the garbage bin. You slowly walked back, wondering if your's and Archie's relationship could ever be the same since he cheated on you.

You had been forgiving, maybe a little too forgiving, when Archie came out of that closet with Veronica's lipstick smudged against his lips and neck. You and Archie had only been together for about two weeks, and you didn't want to sabotage the newly found relationship. Looking back on it, you see that you probably should've made him at least try to get your forgiveness rather than just taking him back after him telling you it was just a game. You approached Archie's front door, going to twist the knob. You looked in, noticing Veronica and Archie sitting on the couch. You scoffed, turning away from the door and beginning to walk home.

You had woken up early the next morning, and decided to be a semi-decent girlfriend and bring Archie some breakfast and aspirin. You made your way back over to his house, clutching the bag in your arms. You knocked on the door, and Jughead pulled it open .

"Hey, (y/n). Where did you go last night?" He asked, stepping aside. You removed your shoes, watching as he shut the door behind you.

"I went to take the trash out then decided to head home, I was exhausted," You answered. Jughead furrowed his brows.

"You could've just spent the night here, you do that all the time," He acknowledged, and you shrugged.

"Wasn't in the mood." You placed the bag of food on the counter, pulling out various things that you had made. Jughead grinned, which made you smile.

"Hungry?" You asked, and he nodded before grabbing some food. You and Jughead made small talk whilst you ate, waiting for Archie to get up. You eventually heard footsteps on the stairs, and you walked over to greet him.

"Hey Arch-" You started, swinging around the staircase, only to see Veronica. Both your smiles faltered, and she went to speak.

"(y/n), hey," She muttered. "Look, it's not what you're thinking."

"Then explain to me what you were doing in my boyfriend's room all night," You hissed.

"I just fell asleep, and he took me upstairs. He slept on the floor, and I slept in his bed," She promised, her voice trailing off at the end. She shook her head, rubbing her eyes.

"You know what, no. I'm just going to tell you that what we did was wrong, and I feel so guilty. It's the second time that Archie and I had ended up alone and things have happened. But all we did was make out, i swear," She pleaded, and you sighed.

"Just get out, Ronnie," You whispered, and she quickly obliged. You shut the door behind her, turning back around to face Jughead.

"(y/n)," he started.

"No," You said, trying to smile. "It's okay."

You rushed out the front door, slamming it shut behind you.
