Next part up! Once this series is over, I have one requested imagine, then I will be doing second parts, but only to ones with a second part requested! So if you want a second part (to any one of the cheating stories) then make sure to comment! Cheryl's will be up Friday. Also I used Toni (Jughead's potential new love interest) in this but I have no idea if this would happen.

warnings: cheating, mention of smut (kinda), making out

It was after months of silence that I realized we were better at being strangers.

"I can't put more stress on him," You groaned, linking your arm with Veronica's.

"(y/n), if you're worried about your relationship you need to say something," She pushed, cocking her head to the side.

"I'm sure it's just him dealing with everything. Switching schools, his dad being arrested. He'll call or message me soon enough," You assured her, even though you hardly believed it yourself.

"Suit yourself. I'll see you tomorrow?" She asked, removing her arm from yours and branching off to go to her house.

"Yeah, see you," You muttered, walking back to your house. You quickly made your way into your bedroom, pulling your phone out of your backpack. You hoped to see a text or missed call from Jughead, but no.

You and Jughead had been best friends since birth, and dating since the beginning of freshman year. The communication between you two had always been constant, never going a day without calling, texting, or seeing each other. Ever since he switched schools that had changed. You had sent several unanswered messages, left countless calls. Only one everyday though, hoping that he would eventually answer. But he didn't.

Your hands shook as you brought your hand up to knock on the door, the door of the foster home Jughead was staying in. You knocked three times, before stepping back, brushing off your clothes. An older woman answered the door, and you gave her a smile. She returned it right away, which calmed your nerves for a second.

"Hi, dear. What can I do for you?" She asked.

"Uhm, I'm here to see Jughead. I haven't heard from him in awhile and I just want to know what's going on," You explained, sticking your hands into your pockets. She opened the door, allowing you to come inside.

"His room is down the stairs and to the right. Stay as long as you like."

You thanked her, shuffling down the stairs slowly. You turned to the right, knocking on the door.

"Yeah?" Jughead called, and you went limp with relief.

"Hey, it's me," You responded, and you heard a bang. The door opened after a few seconds, and you smiled at him.

"What are you doing here?" He asked. You frowned a bit, but shook it off.

"Jughead, you haven't tried to contact me once since you switched schools. I kept blaming it on the stress and thinking about how overwhelmed you must've been, but a month, Juggy? You haven't tried to talk to me for a month, and honestly, I don't even feel like your girlfriend anymore," You hissed, anger suddenly taking over your calm and sympathetic exterior. He sighed, running a hand through his hair.

"I know, (y/n). I'm sorry. I just assumed it would be better for everyone if I distanced myself," He muttered. You sighed, pulling him in for a hug.

"I've missed you so much, Juggy," You whispered, pushing him into the room. You shut the door behind you, attaching your lips to his. He kissed back, slowly at first, but then with more passion. You lead him over to his bed, pushing him down onto it slowly. You took your coat off without detaching your lips, and went to straddle him. Jughead stopped your leg, placing it back onto the other side of him. You pulled away from him, a confused look on your face.

"What?" You asked. "We can just hang out, I'm sorry. I just miss you."

"It's not that," He mumbled, sitting up. You placed your feet on the ground, sighing.

"Then what is it?" You asked.

"There's a reason, I haven't been talking to you lately," He started. "After the first week, I remembered how great it was to not have a girlfriend around."

You flinched slightly at his words, but composed yourself quickly.

"I got caught up in everything, and at some point I kind've forgot about everything we had, without you being around, I didn't have a constant reminder of it. And I liked it, (y/n). I couldn't bring myself to tell you what I had done," He rambled.

"What do you mean, tell me what you've done?" You asked. He opened his mouth, obviously not meaning to have told you that.

"Nothing," He whispered. You grabbed his arm, making him look at you.

"Jughead Jones," You asked sternly, but you felt your facade of being okay fade. "What did you do?"

Instead of answering, Jughead walked over to the closet, pulling the doors open. He muttered something, before stepping back. A girl emerged from the closet, and you pressed your lips together.

"Toni, this is my girlfriend. (y/n), this is Toni," He introduced. You shook your head, grabbing your jacket off his bed.

"Ex. Ex-girlfriend. Bye, Jughead," You spat, rushing up the stairs and out the door.
