This was requested! After this, I will be uploading second parts to the cheating series! I recently became an admin on one of my all time favourite writing accounts on Tumblr, so updates on here may be a little slower than before! Anyway, Jason's second part should be uploaded Thursday. Hope you enjoy, Alexis!

You and Betty Cooper had never really been close. You hung out with Cheryl Blossom, whereas she hung out with Veronica Lodge. The two of you only ever started talking when she joined the cheerleading team, allowing you to get to know her a little bit.

What you never expected was for Betty to ask you on a date. The two of you had never discussed your sexualities, let alone anything about dating. But she had still approached you after cheer practice, wondering if you would go to Pop's with her on Saturday. You had obviously said yes, anyone willing to miss a date with Betty Cooper was insane.

So here you were, admiring your hair and outfit closely, looking for any flaw that may be apparent.

"Alexis, there's a girl at the door for you!" You heard your mother call, and you quickly pushed any negative thoughts about your appearance out of your head. You grabbed your wallet, before racing down to the front door. Your eyes met Betty's, who gave you a comforting smile.

"Have fun you two!" Your mother exclaimed as you left with Betty, beginning the walk to the familiar diner.

"You look, really great," You breathed, taking in the girl. Her hair was down, unlike usual, and she had on a black skirt with a white shirt. Her cheeks flushed, and she smiled a bit.

"Thanks, you look great, too," She stuttered slightly, causing you to laugh.

"Since when do I make you nervous, Betty?" You asked, and she shook her head. You opened the door to Pop's, allowing her to walk in first. You followed her to the booth, sitting down across from her.

"You know, I've only really been on one date," Betty admitted, giving you a sheepish smile. You shrugged, leaning towards her.

"I've never really been on a date, period," You whispered, causing her to lean back. She appeared for relaxed than before, which made you feel the same.

"I'm really glad I joined the cheerleading team," Betty started.

"Why's that?" You asked.

"Because I would've never gotten to know you if I didn't," She explained.

Your phone went off, and you quickly put it on silent. Betty cocked her head slightly.

"You can answer it if you want," She said. You shook your head.

"It's just Cheryl, she can wait."

The two of you talked for hours, learning everything there was to learn about the other person.

"I feel like I've known you for ages, now," Betty commented.

"You should've just asked me to be your girlfriend right away," You teased, placing some money on the table as you stood to leave. Betty placed some cash down too, following your lead to the door. You held it open for her, beginning the walk to Betty's neighbourhood.

"I had a really good time with you, Alexis. Like," She paused. "This was way better than my date with Archie."

You smiled at her, lacing her fingers with yours.

"I'm flattered. And I had a great time too."

You stopped in front of Betty's house, locking your eyes together. You couldn't help your heart from thumping as you stared at her, your breath showing in the cold air. She finally leaned in, pressing her lips to yours for a few seconds. You melted into her touch until the two of you heard a voice from behind you.

"Elizabeth!" The two of you turned to see Polly standing in her doorway, grinning at the two of you. "Mom wants you inside."

"In a second!" Betty called back, turning back to you. She pecked your cheek, smiling.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" She asked, and you nodded. She rushed off into her house, leaving you in the street, a satisfied smile on your face.
