What follows this author's note is the failed threads of a story called Dejected. It was originally published as a sequel to this story, Rejected, but I lost interest in Supernatural halfway through writing. I'll always have a soft spot for the world Supernatural created, but, unfortunately, it isn't as engaging as it used to be for me.
