"Mike!" I groaned,"how far are we from Khans location!" My feet were starting to ache, I desperately wanted to sit down!

"It's gonna take at least another day just to reach him Lucy." Mike said.

"Why did we have to park our ship a day away from him!" I grumbled.

We walked for hours! Without rest! But the sun started setting, and we decided to finally stop and set up camp for the night.

I took out my communicator and contacted Jim.

"Jim," I waited for an answer.

"Yes Lucy?" He replied.

"We're stopping to rest for the night, just letting you know." I said.

"Alright, we haven't stopped yet," Jim said,"Bones is different out in the woods!" Jim sounded surprised.

I couldn't help but laugh, McCoy seems to do something faster or more quickly if he's outside.

I then ended the call and walked towards our camp.

Jeff, which was the crew member that joined us, was already making a fire. Mike and Spock seemed to have gone hunting and they brought back something that they called "food".

The sky was now pitch black, starts were out and twinkling, I could feel a slight breeze during the night.

Jeff had somehow packed a few tents with him for this trip, so all of us got our own.

After we ate our "dinner", Jeff had gone to his tent, leaving only me,Spock and Mike awake.

It was silent, except for the sounds of crickets chirping and the wind blowing the trees.

The three of us sat there for a few hours quietly, then I decided to retire for the night and I headed towards my tent.

Once I got in my tent, I laid down and immediately fell asleep.

[ Mikes POV ]

Lucy had gone to bed, but me and Spock decided to stay up.

The fire was starting to die so I grab another log and threw it into the fire.

"Do you have feelings for Jim's sister?" Spock asked me suddenly.

I stopped what I was doing to the fire and I sat next to Spock.

"Why are you asking me this Spock?" I asked.

"The way you act around her," Spock said,"your body language seems to change when she's near you. You also seem to act strange when someone mentions her name."

I started to smile. I did like it when she was around me, and I guess I did act strange around her.

"I guess you're right Spock," I smiled,"I guess I do have feelings for Lucy."

We stayed out by the fire all night. I had fallen asleep, but I don't think Spock had even slept. He seemed so "awake".

The sky was now a bright orange and purple, few clouds were seen.

Jeff was already awake and packing up his tent. Lucy however was not even up yet.

I walked over towards her tent and stepped in. She was still sleeping. Her chest was rising and falling slowly. She looked so peaceful!
