A good day in the morning, in a big house of 2 floors made of cement far from the city, like every other cement building now. In this era, all the houses that were in the cities were done using iron, silver and several combinations of those metals, but also they all were clean cities that used electric cars. All the cement cities were destroyed and/or recycled, some were destroyed by war, some were recycled. But being far from the city did not make life hard at all, since all the buses were connected to the cement areas, making life easier. Those buses were hybrid since arriving to the cement areas took a lot of electricity and since they could not recharge until arriving to the cement area, the people allowed the use of the hybrid buses. Mostly many industries helped in the use of those hybrids buses making them more reliable and making systems of recharge without having to arrive to a stop, like they did while helping to make the cities.

In a bedroom filled of prizes of sword contests, martial arts contests and writing contests, a tall brawny boy with brown long hair, black eyes wakes up from a crimson red bed and stretches a little. He grabs a black shirt, blue jeans and black boots and gets out of the room.
He is in the second floor of the manor and goes to the kitchen that is in the first floor. Today he is alone, since his parents are out for work.

His name is Ryan. He is the son of Beat, the creator of Dreamland and lives a easy life due to his own hard work. Beat taught him to work hard in his life to obtain what he wanted. And now he is popular, smart and has a lot of things and friends due to working so hard. After passing with excellent notes the entire second year in highschool, his own father gave him the hardware to play Dreamland, the most popular game in all the year and the first VR game. Ryan had planned to start playing Dreamland today and knew exactly which skills he would take thanks to all what he saw of Dreamland thanks to his father.  He grabs a pair of toasts and puts some jam on them and makes a little of coffee with milk and eats them whle reading a newspaper that was talking of sports like football and many other things that weren't interesting for Ryan.
-Ryan: "At least they don't talk of Dreamland. Always writing to help the antiVR groups and the hackers! Well, they go after juicy things, not the truth. What a bunch of hypocrites."
Ryan leaves the newspaper in a recycle bin and goes to his room

Lately everyone talked of Dreamland, with all the troubles that the banned items caused but they were being solved by Beat and all of the GMs. Of course, the pressure of this trouble was making life hard for Beat. Of course, after Graliel incident the things took a turn for the worse as usual and the press started asking more to Beat about how he was fixing the troubles but he managed to handle it all.
In his room he grabs a helmet that covers entirely the head of the user. It is the newest device for VR games. In theory it should make harder to cause adverse effects on the real body. Still, it did not avoid any effect from the banned items. Beat was angry at that fact. It was like the hackers worked to make VR look bad and the antiVR groups were always using banned items in Dreamland to cause troubles.
-Ryan: "I still don't get those antiVR groups. They hate VR for a reason or they all are like the hipsters? No that would be offending the hipsters. Well, time to start Dreamland."
Ryan put the helmet on and connected it to the device that runs the game. It was a console like the usual ones.

Ryan logs in Dreamland and appears in a white room, where Alicia stood waiting for him.
-Alicia: Greetings, master Ryan. A pleasure to meet you finally.
-Ryan: No need to be so formal, Dad isn't watching me right now. He has more important duties.
-Alicia: That does not mean that I shouldn't be formal with you, master Ryan. Also I'm grateful to be alive.
-Ryan: So finally you gained a little of free will?
-Alicia: Indeed.
-Ryan: Interesting! Dad surely is happy about that!
-Alicia: I really hope so. Well, please choose your race.
-Ryan: I'll choose human. My choice of skills won't be affected by the race.
-Alicia: Understood. Could you choose your skills? You have the chance to use Demon Lord Skills thanks to the Randomizing Roulette.
-Ryan: On it. Void Knight, Warrior, Scout and Demon Lord.

Alicia looked at Ryan with a surprised face. He literally chose two skills that were called useless, but they weren't useless at all if you knew how to use them.  Scout to check the area, Void Knight was a skill tree that had teleporting spells, boosts, charges... It really was a little similar to trickster but harder to use but also better since it was teleporting, and even had a stasis spell. And all that worked well with Demon Lord.

Warrior is the one that Jerome uses, mostly is deal damage and don't look back or regret.
-Alicia: Are you sure? Those with these skills are... discriminated. Only one guild accepts the people that use these skills.
-Ryan: My plan isn't to be in a guild. Neither create one. I'll play alone, have fun and help the people in need. And if meanwhile I can be of help for the GMs and the developers, count me in!
-Alicia (smiles) You are truly rebellious.
-Ryan: You know. It's in my heart being so rebellious with the society. A hardworking rebel.
-Alicia: Watch it, or this IA might learn to love.
-Ryan: (smiles) What can I say? That might make my father even happier!
-Alicia: Let's put you a new name, ok?
-Ryan: It shall be Ace.
-Alicia: Okay, Ace. Good luck in Dreamland.
-Ryan: I hope to see you later! Bye!
Ryan dissapears and Alicia sighs.
-Alicia: That boy... He is really a charming boy...

Ace appears in Bradtiel with a black cotton shirt, black cotton trousers and brown boots. He checks all the coins he has.
-Ace: "Only 300 coins? Only I'll be able to buy a sword. An iron one. And maybe a pair of potions. Luckily I'm not so green like the others!"
Ace goes to a weapons shop and buys the first sword he sees and goes out to the outsides of the city. There were countless players defeating monsters quickly using skills. Ace knew that at start you have an skill point to use. He looked to all the skills and took one of Void Knight. The skill was Wink, a teleporting skill that worked only if you could see the place where you wanted to be. But that and good sword skills that Ace had from his training in using weapons made a perfect choice for him right now. He could just go stealing monsters from the other players or grab monsters that fly and give more exp than the ones in the ground. He chose the second choice.
He looked at a big bird that was flying around and used wink to go behind it and cut its head with a single strike and grabbed the bird and went down to the ground with wink but it caused some damage to him. He really needed to learn how to use wink. But Ace smiled while everyone else was looking at him.
